My 6 year old son learned how to skate on these within a day! He loves how they light up. Good price!

My daughter used these and they fit her. The skates are pretty sturdy and the claps can be adjusted to fit nicely. She complained that the sides of her feet roll up too much though, which may mean these are a bit narrow and there's not enough cushion to keep the feet flat enough, but comfortably snug. They roll ok and the wheels are soft enough to produce good grip. So overall not bad, but maybe need to be a bit wider at the forefoot.

I ordered these to replace a pair of skates that my 7-year-old outgrew. He's been skating for a couple of years (though not super often) and is still a bit shaky on wheels. Luckily, these are excellent beginner skates that look cool and have wheels that easily spin, but not especially fast.I like the overall design of these skates. The colors and materials are nice and exactly the style my son likes. I like the aluminum frame and think it looks really good with the black and blue boot. The wheels light up exactly like his old skates and look very cool when skating, especially in a darkened roller rink!I also like that the skate size is easily adjustable. You just press a button on the side of the skate and the toe of the skate pulls out - very easy to make adjustments! This feature should help make sure these last for a couple of years. As a former roller hockey player, I try to encourage my kids to learn other ways to stop beside using the break, but my 7-year-old likes to use it and it seems to work well for him. But on that note, though I haven't actually tried to remove it, I think the design of these is very similar to his old skates, which had a break that could not be removed because the bolt/axle it slightly longer than the others and cannot be tightened correctly without the break in place. I wish the break could be removed. That one small gripe aside, I'm very happy with these skates! More important than that, my son is very happy with these skates! For the current $35-38 price, I think these are excellent!
