They look like REAL inlays! Easy to apply & remove. Inlay Stickers are SUPER-THIN and Removable! You can modify your guitar so easily!! They will not get caught by your fingers while playing! It's possible to use finger ease spray or lemon oil after applying the stickers. No adhesive will be left behind after you peel off the sticker.

A unique and quality product. Easy to apply (much cutting required in my case though since I used on a violin’s edge rather than on a guitar’s sound hole). The end result was fantastic and I get so many compliments!

This makes the guitar look thousands of dollars more in value. But it’s a small upgrade. Would like to see more of this.

Added it to my guitar to give it a bit more pizzazz . Wasn’t too difficult but recommend having an exacto knife to help get the angle correct. Just have to be careful and not scratch your guitar.

Definitely worth the money. I'm very happy with the results. As a bonus, the manufacturer gives two extra sections in case you mess up during installation. See my installation tips, below. This review would have been five stars if they made each decal on a separate piece of sticky paper. As is, you have to hold the entire thing and it's way too awkward and takes longer than it should. After putting these (4 stickers) around the sound hole to create a simulated abalone rosette, I am very happy with the results.I also purchased the 'Tree of Life' stickers for the frets and absolutely love them. Again, individual chunks would have been better than working with the entire thing in my hand during installation. When sunlight hits these stickers, they look amazing. The colors jump right out and - wow.OK, so here's what I learned from installing the two sets of stickers on my acoustic guitar... put the stickers on a table with the manila side down and the clear side up. Use a pick to scrape on the clear side to make the stickers adhere to the clear side instead of the manila side. Repeat.Peel of the manila side and use the clear side with the stickers attached to get an idea of where you want to put the stickers. Gently place the first sticker, aligning it with one of the existing lines around the sound hole. You might have to experiment to see which line will be best for your guitar. I think I covered one or two of the existing lines. Once you're confident the other three stickers will form a perfect circle, attach the first sticker by pressing in the center and working outward. Use the attached sticker as a guide for the next and repeat the processes for the others. When applying each sticker, use a pick to scrape the sticker from the clear side onto the guitar. If you've also purchased the 'Tree of Life' stickers for your frets, and recently applied oil to the fretboard, wait several weeks before applying the stickers. It matters.Nearly perfect, except for all the stickers being on the same piece of adhesive. Highly recommended.

This looks like a nice product but I have not been able to use it because it’s just one circle of Abalone. It really needs some trim around it to make it look nice. The picture led me to believe that there was some trim around the Abalone. My mistake. I wish there was some trim available to go on each side of the Abalone to make it stand out. Just unable to find that. When I do, I hope to be able to use it.

I really like these decals. I was a little hesitant to buy them because it's hard to get a good look by the pictures posted. I really wanted them to look like real abelone. I was refinishing and repairing an old ibanez acoustic and I was trying to dress it up a little bit so I purchase these to put around the sound hole. I think in the end they look great. Now keep in mind, this is not real abelone. It is Just A sticker. But they do shine and have a luminescent look to them in different shades of lighting. If you are unsure if they will fit your sound hole, make sure you measure so you get the right fit. I ended up with 2 Pieces left that I did Not use. They stick down very well and are very thin and I have been playing my guitar for a little over a month now and they do not peel up so, It was well worth the money and I would definitely purchase them again

I ordered the decals to go along with a faux blue abalone pickguard I also ordered. Luckily, the color did match close enough, so it actually looks like they go together (different company made the pickguard). They were fairly easy to apply, but I almost messed up one of the pieces (maybe that's why you get an extra), because I was thinking they were just like stickers and all I had to do was peel off the backing and then stick them on. Not exactly. Decals come with instructions---so if you haven't used this product before, please read the instructions. You will need a couple of tools to get the decals on so they look like the inlays they are supposed to look like. You need a plastic card (like a credit card) or something as a burnishing tool, and a pair of scissors or craft knive/blade (to cut the decals apart for easier handling and to trim them if necessary so they fit your particular sound hole. Other than that, take your time to carefully position the pieces (I overlapped mine VERY slightly so there woudn't be any seams) because while they are easily removed, they aren't exactly something that can be repositioned easily once you peeled away all the plastic.Overall, I'm very pleased with the product, and my old Yamaha 325 Folk Acoustic really is starting to look pretty sharp. Those having more expensive, or valuable guitars, but not wanting to go to a luthier to install actual inlay or something, might want to consider a more "deluxe" product if one is available. However, for a quick, easy makeover (especially if you might want to change looks from time to time), this is exactly as advertised, and I'm quite pleased.Make sure you look carefully at the color code when you order. I couldn't tell at first glance why there were two listings for "abalone"--but one was blue (which I needed) and the other green. The listings look very similar otherwise, so make sure you order the color you want.
