Product Description

For Those Long Journeys Ahead

Liner Crew NuWool, Charcoal

A Must-Have For Odor Resistance Needs

Sock blister protection and freedom, NüWool odor resistance and thermoregulation – this is the liner for long treks and ambitious day hikes. Injinji's patented five-toe design conforms to your foot for a streamlined fit that rides comfortably under an outer sock, and wraps a layer of NüWool around each toe to prevent the skin-on-skin friction that leads to blisters. It’s also great on its own as a soft, superlight sock for summer adventures. Injinji Liner Crew NuWool socks are unisex.

Injinji Liner Crew NuWool socks are a great standalone sock for any summertime adventure, backpacking trip, or day hike. They are also a great base layer sock to pair with another sock when layers are needed for extra warmth or protection.

Why Toesocks? The Answer Is Surprisingly Simple

Blister Prevention

With each toe protected, skin-on-skin friction is completely eliminated protecting your foot from blisters and hot spots.

Total Foot Utilization

When your toes are separated, properly aligned and splayed, your weight is distributed evenly which allows your entire foot to be engaged in any athletic activity.

Moisture Management

Each toe is wrapped in sweat-wicking material so your foot will be drier and therefore more comfortable than in traditional socks.

Liner Crew NuWool, Charcoal

Why Injinji?

Our patented, five-toe sock design helps enhance the freedom and natural function of your foot inside any shoe, which means less time worrying about discomfort and more time for your next adventure. Wherever you go, there’s a toesock to help you along the way.

I used to get blisters from my ski boots all the time until I bought these liners and wear them underneath my wool socks. No more blisters and these are very comfortable. The material quality has held up for 5+ years and they are still like brand new.

I have been wearing this brand for over 10 years now and this particular sock lasted about 5 years before developing a hole in the toe. I an hard on socks and shoes, so I would recommend them.In most circumstances I wear a normal outer sock on top of the injinji thin toe sock to help prevent blisters while hiking. They are comfortable, not warm, fit very well, easy to use, and have great elasticity to mold to your foot.

These fit comfortably but not loose. They are soft with stretch and as a liner with other socks I have not had any between the toes blisters - which I was getting before I got these.

I wore these liner socks inside another pair of socks through an 8-day, 190 km long Camino de Santiago pilgrimage walk. My feet stayed perfectly blister-free. Gotta attribute it to the socks besides a good pair of walking shoes.

My poor toes are somewhat beaten up. Overpronating so badly hasn't helped. Consequently, I do suffer from friction building up in my toes while walking, and no amount of podiatry has helped, whether it be custom insoles or spending fortunes on shoes. I have tried liner socks of varying types, but these? Well, so far so good. There are still limits as to how far I can walk before the soreness sets in, but I don't get the blisters I used to, and they do fit more comfortably than others I've tried that tend to be either too tight, or cause sweating - which increases the risk of blistering, so I have to consider them a success.Four stars rather than five for the simple reason that the toes seem to be made for those with perfect and somewhat dainty feet - even for a guy, so it is necessary to spend some time pulling and stretching the material to get them on. For that reason alone, I'm not convinced of their longevity. That said, I am likely to invest in another pair at least, and do intend to follow this business to see what they develop that may prove even better.UPDATE:Several months have passed since I bought these. In that time they have stood up to testing conditions in Yosemite (6ft of Snow), Zion NP, Bryce Canyon NP, Arches NP (Wet), Grand Canyon NP (Hot), and most recently during some grueling long distance hikes in Glacier NP. During all this time, they have been the ONLY hiking socks I've worn that have not given me even the slightest level of discomfort. The friction I mentioned above was discovered to have originated from some (expensive) insoles. The socks have also now stretched just enough to make getting them on a little easier without sacrificing the fit. Suffice to say I have bought two more pairs, and binned the others.

this is my fifth pair of Injinji performance toe socks and i continue to be very pleased...toe socks can not be beat for keeping your toes dry and warm... and, this is another quality Injinji product, made of good materials, very well designed and sewn, and a very comfortable, high performance sock... specifically. it is; • a nice, thin, wicking base layer toe sock • very easy to align and to slide over toes • no toe seams! that is very, very nice and comfortable! • no pressure points around the ankle or at the elastic trim at the top of the sock • a moderate, comfortable compression around arch, which is a very nice attribute, both for performance and comfort • very well made & high quality • very durable and, hence, long lasting (13jul17 update) notes regarding toe socks; for those unfamiliar with toe socks, please consider the following; • your toes sweat and stick together with regular socks, which is often the root cause in cold toes, and, subsequent, cold feet. • though it seems counterintuitive, as we all know that mittens are generally warmer than gloves, because your fingers are together, rather than separate, keeping them warm, the opposite is true for toes and socks as the difference is that fingers do not sweat like toes do. so, when it comes to toes and the ever present sweating of toes, again, it is the opposite to fingers and when you keep your sweaty toes separated, it enables them to be dry and warm, for a more comfortable experience. • most importantly, wicking toe socks are excellent as a cold weather base layer, as they keep your sweaty toes from touching and getting cold and they wick the moisture away, keeping your toes, and subsequently, your entire feet, dry and warm.these liner crew toesocks also “wick” exceptionally well and, thus, keep your toes and feet warm... though these are not polypropylene, which is normally, by far, the best base layer due to polypropylene's wicking ability, the polyester weave on these liner toesocks do result in exceptional wicking and, as such, in addition to being very thin, these socks wick and dry out very fast.in the cold weather (~10°-30°F) case, i found the Injinji to be the best toe sock and below, you will find a link to my favorite and highest recommendation, though this Injinji liner is excellent for these temps, as well.• note - in the case of cold weather cycling, you still need windproof toe covers for your shoes, but the wicking toe socks will do wonders to keeping your feet warm by handling the sweating and keeping your toes and, subsequently, your entire feet warm... you will also need a great wicking top & bottom, which the Helly Hansen Polypropylene LIFA is the absolute very best. there are many sellers of HH polypro LIFA tops & bottoms, so they are easy to find here on Amazon.in closing, the highest recommended cold weather base layer wicking toe sock:in white: in black: very pleased, Thank you! :-)

These are the first toe socks I've tried, and I will say, they feel very odd to me. I don't like the sensation of having anything between my toes, though I imagine after a while I would get used to it. That said, I have in the past been prone to minor blisters between my toes on very long hikes, so will keep these socks for those occasions. Other than the new sensation these present, they are very comfortable. As for sizing, I was right in between medium and large, and sure enough, I could wear either one. I like the slightly less tight fit of the large on my 9.5 foot (my other foot is smaller, more like 8.5-9). Either size is quite a challenge to get on initially, which I expect is typical for toe socks. I think these will be handy to have in the hiking footwear arsenal, and look forward to trying them out on an actual hike soon.
