I used several different brands / thickness of card stock. I ran them though my Big Shot several times before removing the dies from the card stock. The letters are almost invisible no matter which card stock I used. I was expecting the letters to be embossed on the paper well enough to read. In the photo of the ad they are clear and easy to read.

I love this set of dies - there is such a variety of bows, box shapes, ribbons, that the only limit is your imagination. Note, there are no instructions as to what goes with what, but if you look at the dies and lay them out, it's easy to figure out which dies go together. The straight ribbons only fit on certain boxes, so that's easy to figure out, and the bows will go on any box. I just printed out the photo in the listing picture that shows some examples of completed boxes and that is good enough to give me ideas. The dies cut cleanly and make boxes that are a good size - for both quarter-fold and half-fold cards, A2 and A9s. There're even little gift tags that you can cut out and attach to the presents! How cute is that? This is a great deal for the price. Depending on the occasion, you can use different colors/patterns to make these Christmas, birthday, wedding, etc. presents, and you can also emboss patterns on the cardstock after you cut out the box shape, like another reviewer did, great tip! Recommend!

Not sure how you could use the stamps if you took them off backing. I used double sided tape to fix the stamps on the sheet onto my Misti stamper. Stamped, then the die cut them out perfectly. Not sure how you could stamp them otherwise. The stamps & die work great otherwise. You end up with extra sentiments but worth the paper to stamp them fast & clear. I have a magnetic plate so the dies stay in place in the die cut machine.

Die Stanzen mit dem Wellenraund sind nocheinigermaßen brauchbar, obwohl das Muster auch nicht wirklich hübsch ist. Die Gitterstanzen taugen gar nichts. Dünnes papier bleibt darin hängen und reißt, dickeres Papier wird erst gar nicht geschnitten.

Decent mix of phrases but I had hoped the words were cut out enough that you could put another color paper behind and get a shadow. It actually just imrints the word. You can trace over the letters with a very fine marker. Also failed to pick up on the fact it cut the tag shape so you end up with a tiny tag. Given the price, it's not an awful set. Just wasn't what I was hoping for.

These are the BEST set of Present, Bow & Ribbon Dies!! Better than some other sets I own from Major Brand Companies!Great assortment of Present Shapes; 12 DIFFERENT SHAPES with some cutouts that can be mixed and matched for endless possibilites! The Bow & Ribbon assortment is very elaborate and easily interchanged with any of the present designs. I even used an embossing folder with some of the present dies for more possibilities (SEE PHOTO, Pink Pesents).Not too small or large for Cardmaking. Fits Great on A2 Size Card (4 1/2" x 5"), (SEE PHOTO for size comparison) Would also work on smaller or larger Greeting Card Sizes.
