I bought this for my trip to Asia. Used it once on the way there. On way back, I discovered it had a leak and deflated a short time later. Not sure if it was defective or just a bad product.

I use this almost every day as it really is comfortable behind your back easy to blow up and strong. I also took it on a long haul flight and it’s surviving still after nine months.

The Rikki-Tikki pillow is great, works perfectly and takes little space for transporting.I have not used the multi-port power adapter other than to test it. Am waiting for more extensive use when I travel in a few weeks,

After a few hours, I find that airline seats are about as comfortable to sit on as a concrete bench. A cushion is the obvious answer, but I hate the idea of conspicuously carrying a pillow through airports. This pillow seems like a good solution. It packs very small, inflates (and deflates) quickly and is comfortable to sit on. While time will tell, an initial examination makes me thin that this cushion will be reasonably rugged. The attached storage bag is also a convenience. I highly recommend it.

For the past couple summers, I’ve been interning as a river guide and needed a more convenient way to bring a pillow and found this. I used it on one trip But halfway through stopped using it because it is like sleeping on a blowup mattress that is rock solid, no matter how much you deflated. It is very convenient to to pack away and travel with as well. Shape is just like promised. Very stable didn’t have to worry about it deflating while I slept. Support is like sleeping on a rock Which some people may like that, but I don’t.

Still my fave camp pillow - I also take it on planes and love it. For some reason this one is hard to open the valve.

Got these pillows for motorcycle camping (like backpacking we have space limitations).Pillow is a decent size and inflates fast with our little air pump. I like that the carry bag is part of the cover, so it can’t get lost.I made little pillow cases for them because the underside of the cover is slippery against our air mattress and that fixed the problem. If fully inflated, not too loud/crinkly sounding, but for a softer pillow (less inflated) it is a little crinkly. (Pillow in photo is not fully inflated, we prefer them to not be fully inflated).Edit: By the end of the season one of our two pillows had a hole in it. It might have been an operator error, rather than a product defect. The nozzle is really hard to open and close, so it might have gotten a hole that way.

I was tired of fluffy hotel pillows that pancake-down to nothing. This inflates with five deep breaths and acts as a solid support under one of those fluffy-but-flat hotel offerings. It deflates in about 15 seconds and takes next to no room (or weight) in your travel bag. Very happy with it.

I wanted a very small, lightweight, packable pillow that I could use when traveling. Honestly, I wanted it to go with my hammock. I needed something that I could throw in my backpack or bike pannier that would provide a good pillow when I needed it and wouldn't take up much space when it was being transported. This meets those requirements. It has a nice covering that seems it would be comfortable and soft. It is surprisingly substantial when inflated, but you can inflate it less if you want a softer pillow or less bulk. It is easy to inflate. There is a large valve that has a flap to keep the air you blow in from escaping. It only takes a couple of puffs to get it inflated, and then it's easy to fully deflate and pack. Very nice.I have not actually slept on it yet, because I got this after returning from my last vacation, but I'm very impressed with it so far. I think it will also be good as a pillow for use on air or bus travel. Takes up almost no space when in its bag.

I'm not a big fan of "wrap around your neck" style travel pillows so I decided to try the Rikki Tikki backpacking pillow. I was glad I did, I love the product.First, it is very comfortable. There is a thin layer of foam inside that makes it feel like a real pillow instead of a beach toy. I don't backpack or go camping but I spend a lot of time on planes and this pillow makes sleeping on the plane much better. You can lay the whole side of your head against it.Second, it collapses VERY small and stores in a bag that is sewn to the pillow so you always know where it is. I carry it on to the plane in the pocket of my sports coat, it's that small. Third, it is extremely easy to inflate and deflate. Instead of the normal inflation nipple it has an opening about the size of a quarter with a diaphragm. I can easily inflate it with about three breaths and then let a little air out to get just the right amount of cushion. The seal is tight and flat, you never feel it when using the pillow.Deflating and storing the pillow is very easy. You hold your finger on the diaphragm and start folding the pillow, you can get ALL of the air out of it this way and it fits right back into the bag.
