Your cart is empty.D.O.M stands for Drawn Over Mandrel. It is First cold drawn electric welded with all of the slag or flash removed. Each tube is normalized then tested and then drawn over a mandrel for a uniform end product. D.O.M is made from a mild steel 1020 for lighter wall thickness such as 10 gauge and lighter (.1345” Wall ) and for heavier walls than 8 guage it is made from 1026 Mild Steel .DOM seamless round tube is used in a wide variety of applications from Race car chasis, motorcycle frames, hydraulic applications, bumpers, telescoping applications ,cylinders, axles, conveyer rolls, and even bearing races.It can be welded with ease Mig or Tig .It is very easy to Mill, Drill, Tap, Turn and Burn.

Hard to write a review for a piece of tubing. When you couple the time it takes to go to a wholesaler, wait for a cut and drive back to the shop it just makes more sense to purchase online. This tubing was just as listed and withing twenty minutes of being delivered it was welded on a trailer to repair a pivot. I'm all for brick and motor wholesalers but their cut charge is often higher than the total price for material from these good folks. When you need just a small piece this is the way to go.

I went by the description that this product was 3/4" (.750) ID. It is more like .740. My 3/4" rods will not fit.

I needed some bushings for my John Deere tractor's three-point system (i-Match) so my various implements could be attached. A 1 foot length of this tubing allowed me to make 4 bushings with a tad of excess, all at a reasonable price.
