It it is big as advertised and I love the way it looks however the water splashes everywhere outside the bowl. I didn't use it right away and if I could return it I would so just giving you a heads up people.

This fountain is easy to set up. The bottom bowl is pretty large so make sure you have a lot of extra desk space if this is for the office, and keep some of the box to stuff under it in case you need to make it lean a bit to get the water to go where you need it to go so it won't splash. The biggest problem is the hanging plate isn't actually centered on the fountain. I put it together just like the instructions said and no matter what I do, the hooked pipe holding the heavy rock plate thing is off center so as the water runs down it splashes off to one side. I used the rocks included to build up a little wall on that side to help block the water but it still looks kinda weird all off-center. It's pretty and sounds nice. The light is subtle but also nice. The materials are solid and well worth the price. I just wish it all looked a little less like it snuck in a few brews during lunch.

This is simply lovely and I've wanted this style of fountain for years, found on sale and it does not disappoint, pretty, well made, and the trickling sound is very soothing, no motor sound unless water gets low, so happy with this purchase.
