Coconut Coir Soil Discs

Compressed into soil discs (each 1.5" in thickness and 1.6oz in weighs), they can expand into 10 times as large as what it was after absorbing the water, which is good for seeds germination and can promote the growth of seedling.

Got this through the Vine. Really love this set of bonsai trees. It is so cute and makes a perfect gift for anyone. I mean yes it will take many many years for it to grow fully, but it is so nice. You get everything you need to get going. I love that it is FIVE different types of trees. A must buy and good buy overall.

The kit is a cool idea and includes everything you need to start bonsai growing. However, mine arrived with soil spilling out, which made an unnecessary mess. The materials seem good otherwise, and the instructions are straightforward. Still a decent gift for plant enthusiasts, just wish the packaging was better secured.

We just bought this bonsai starter kit as a Christmas gift, and it looks fantastic! The packaging is neat and makes for an impressive present. It includes all the essentials to start growing beautiful bonsai trees, and the variety of seeds makes it an exciting gift for plant lovers. So I've always wanted to have a Bonsai tree for my desk because I found them rather cool. And as much as getting one already all grown up, I find starting from scratch to be so much more interesting. So when I found this starter kit, this was perfect for me. The kit comes with pretty much everything you need to grow your very own tree. The instruction paper gives you useful instructions and resources to help educate newbies. There's also a few different kind of trees you can grow as well. I can't speak on how well the trees grow, since that will take some time and will depend on how well you care for said tree as well. Overall, I'm very happy with with this kit and looking forward to being a tree dad.

Easy to follow instructions and as you are starting from the beginning the markers are great. Very thought out kit and good value for money if all do spout and become pretty bonsais. Time will tell!
