My blanket is so soft and warm

Very nice colorful, and versatile throws. I wanted something to put on my leather couch seat to protect against spills. You don't get to choose the pattern and color. I was worried a bit about that. But, when they came I was pleasantly surprised with the lovely colors and designs. I have one on my fabric side chair as well. My sister raved at how good they looked. They are cotton, and double sided. The vibrant colorful designs are different on each side. They would be perfect in the summer as a lightweight bedspread, or just at the foot of the bed for a pop of color. I have thought they might make fun window treatments.

It’s absolutely beautiful and everything that I would want in a blanket from India the color is so vibrant. The material is very soft. Well manufactured would definitely order again. I was looking for a red and I got exactly what I wanted. I have it on my patio on my swing my favorite place

It’s just what I was looking for. Great pattern and bright colors. I’m happy with it. Some threads could use better attention, but for the price, it’s not a big deal and I also don’t think it’ll diminish the integrity of the blanket- hence the 4 stars. Would give 4&1/2 ⭐️ if that was an option. Washed up great and put it through the dryer, no problem. Will buy another!

I washed it as soon as I got it based on other reviews, though I didn’t think it had a bad smell. The colors are vibrant and beautiful on both sides. One side has earthy tones of cream and tan with some royal blue and red mixed in that I love but the orange and red go so well with my boho room! Fits perfectly on a twin bed. It’s a little thinner than I thought, but easily fixed with a thin fleece blanket under it for winter or perfect weight for summer. The quality is just so great! I wasn’t expecting something this good. 1000% satisfied! Side note waiting to see what pattern and color I would get was super exciting for me lol almost like Christmas

Although I will keep these throws. I thought there would be a thin layer of batting, it is only 2 layers of very thin fabric (thinner than sheets) sewn together since the product information listed filling of fiber cotton polyester. If you hold it up to the light you can actually see light through it. I also did not receive a note nor a little bag. The "quilts" are colorful and I will take heart that I may of helped someone make a little money. I also want to say mine did not have an odor as some have mentioned , I did wash right away in hot water and they are soft.

I bought one 2 weeks ago and loved it so much I bought another. Each blanket had a thank you note and a gift pouch (last photo) that's perfect for cosmetics. I can't put into words how perfect they are and for so little money. I wish I had the money to buy 2 or 3 more, hopefully they'll restock soon.Not knowing which color and print they'll be is kind of opening a Christmas gift lol.If you get a chance to buy one I highly recommend you do it.UPDATEI bought a 3rd blanket not noticing it was from a different seller. It didn't have a free pouch and it's not as nice as the 2 I bought from Boho Sanskriti.This one has an overwhelming odor and was somewhat damp. Ick.Buy from Boho Sanskriti.UPDATESmell was eliminated after 2 washes on delicate and fabric softener.I still recommend these blankets. Love them.

June 1, 2023 update:***I kind of acted like it was no big deal before but actually, it’s a very big deal. The more I think about it the more upset I get so I wanted to send this privately, but since I couldn’t find a way to do that i am putting it in this review, you do not need to print it if, it’s in your best interest. I wondered why the blankets came so tightly wrapped in non-porous plastic with a lot of tape all around and around it. Normally fabric items like that are just placed loosely in a plastic zip bag, but these were wrapped like it was something extremely valuable. Other reviewer’s mentioned the bad smell - I’m guessing now that it was pesticide they were smelling. I didn’t have any bad smell in mine and I laid them out on my lounge chair to take pictures of them for my review. I kept them there because my cats really like them, but a couple of days later I noticed bedbugs of several different sizes, all around the hem, probably where they come out from in the middle of the two pieces of fabric - and it then made sense why they were so tightly wrapped and why people are noticing a bad smell. There’s probably a big bad bug problem. I lived in an apartment eight years ago that had a bedbug issue so I’m very well-versed in how to deal with them. I’m in a new building now and have been for a year and a half. I got all new furniture when I came here and my unit was brand new. The building is only two years old. I haven’t seen a bedbug the entire time I’ve lived here until I got those blankets so I know that’s what they came from. I should’ve just wrapped them back up and sent them back in for a refund but I really wanted nothing more to do with them because no matter what I would’ve done it wouldn’t be guaranteed; the water heater doesn’t get hot enough nor does the dryer heat get hot enough to kill bedbugs and their eggs - that’s because of safety issues for the seniors and low accessibility people who live here so they won’t get burned. I couldn’t have gotten rid of the bedbugs without spending a lot more money than I’ve spent on the blanket in the first place so I just rewrapped them and put them in a dumpster outdoors. They’re beautiful blankets and they’re very soft. I wish I could’ve kept them.***Update 5/27/23 - I didn’t wash my second blanket (which came without the little pouch the first one did, if that helps differentiate) before I actually used it because it was soft and didn’t smell, and found bed bugs in the hem. They are sent in extremely tightly packed and taped plastic which would keep bed bugs and eggs dormant inside until package is opened. I will wash in the hottest water I can and dry for an hour on the highest heat. I know these things happen, having experienced them in a different apartment many years ago, just a friendly FYI. Be careful.Update: I ordered a second one, just as pretty as the first one. I’ve added photos of both blankets.Very happy with this blanket. It’s mostly pinks, gold and purple. Soft and usable right out of the box and it came with a sweet little makeup-bag-size pouch as a surprise. I would show more of the quilt but it’s as described (no smell by the way). My cats have been taking turns establishing ownership so it’s a hit for all.
