I ordered this in size large for my child who currently wears size medium or 8/9 in most clothes but is starting to wear size large.This fit with lots of room to grow.It's soft and my child says it's comfortable.This kept them warm under other layers of clothing. We're in the upper Midwest and it gets cold most of the winter.

Winter is upon us and all my son wants to do is play outside. Where we live, it’s cold, snowy and sometimes blowy. Base layers are key for keeping comfortable and warm. These layers aren’t quite what I was expecting for fabric feel, but they’re still comfy. My son has other polyester base layers that have a brushed, micro fleecy interior, but these don’t. These camo base layers are slick and sleek polyester on both the outside and the inside. These feel pretty lightweight to me to the point where my son wants to wear them as pj’s. For short jaunts outside for active play, these would probably be fine, but for extended bouts of cold weather fun, you’d likely want something heavier. My son loves wearing these layers!

My son is a solid size 7, and this fits him perfectly. It is a lightweight base layer that is smooth and satin-like to the touch. The camo pattern seems good. He loves it and put it on right away - he says it is comfy. It looks to be well made with good stitching throughout.

This material seems thinner than the other base layer clothing my family has. I've been a RealTree fan for a long time and have never had any issues. The camo pattern is nice. These fit my kid well. So far, I haven't heard any complaints that these aren't keeping my kid warm enough but cold weather is now setting in. I have to mention, these are expensive even on sale ($23). I've found them for less elsewhere. These are average quality, so the higher price is discouraging.

I got this for my very tall almost eight year old- 65ish lbs and 51.5 inches tall. The material is so soft and silky. Lovely on skin- so soft he keeps wanting to use the set as pajamas. In terms of stretch, not much give at the seams, but enough you don’t feel trapped in the clothes and unable to move. These are thin and meant to be an underlayer. They do a good job of providing element protection and not being so thick you can’t wear gear over them. The pattern is nice- what you would expect. A great investment.
