Excellent product but mine came with way too much plating on the hex shank of the crank handle. This made the diameter too big, preventing it from fitting into either the adjustment or locking dial sockets. (It's supposed to be a 1/4" hex shank but the plating added about .010" to mine, making it unusable.). It seemed like a simple fix. I just needed a replacement handle. To my disbelief, Kate from Rockler customer service refused to send out a replacement handle. She told me that I would need to return the entire unit (which I already installed). So basically, accept it the way it is or send the whole thing back. Wow. I ended working on the hex shank with a metal file for about 20 minutes to get it to fit. It's certainly not pretty but it works. I shouldn't have to do that for a nearly $500 product. Customer service had the opportunity to simply send me a new handle to fix the problem.I would have been grateful and thanked them for their support. Instead, they chose to do it this way, ending my decades long relationship with Rockler. Again, excellent product, but I won't deal with a company that treats long-time customers like this.

It's a very precise and smooth lift, no complains except I need a better router now.

The lift is great but the one I got was damage someone dropped it and was missing some of the Allen wrenches that are suppose to come with it I used it a bit and it got stiffed and that was after I cleaned it. Had to take it out and clean it a little better I raised and lower it quite a few times had the black accumulation on the threads each time keep doing this till their was no more accumiltion.

I love this router lift. Accurate easy adjustments. Easy setup. Nice addition to my router table. I already had an Incra fence with all the jigs. This makes height adjustment on the bits easy and repeatable.

I have a Bench Dog router extension on my table saw, and I installed a Bosch 1617EVS in this lift into the table. Installation was very straightforward. and it works very well. There are two things missing that would make this perfect: The pictures in the installation manual are terrible, and there seems to be no way to zero out the lift measurement once you get a bit installed.

I LOVE IT ... I LOVE IT.... I LOVE IT... Keep in mind this only fits in "Rockler" or "Bench Dog" router tables if you don't feel like making your own. I got this along with the "Bench Dog Tools 40-102 ProMax Cast Iron Router Extension" for a HD Contractor grade RIDGID table saw. This thing is ROCK SOLID and locks EXTREMELY well.Setup is almost to easy... I was expecting at least a few hrs setting everything up properly but a little disappointed when it only took about 20 min from out of the package, leveled, router motor installed and shaping wood.Bit changes are a snap... My only gripe is... The magnet holding the insert down is VERY powerful and the hole they leave you to pry up the cover plates is very small. If you are using a Dewalt router motor like I am... You can simply raise the router above the face of the saw breaking the magnetic field holding down the cover plate. Just don't try and use your fingernail to pry it up... I learned the hard way lol.

Wanting to up my game I decided to add a router lift for extra precision. I heavily researched all of the router lifts I could find for over a month. The Incra/Jessom Master Lift II had all of the features I wanted plus. First I wanted high precision on both the vertical and horizontal axis, then a lock-down capability to avoid any creep, Incra does this all by design. The lift mounted my Milwaukee 5625 router with ease (and can change to accept my Porter Cable, Bosch or Dewalt without any extra hardware or shims needed). Note: the Lift is sold in two sizes, the 8-1/2" wide fits most of the BenchDog Router Tables and the 9-1/2" fits the Jessom & Kreg tables - I needed the BenchDog but also found you can order just the top plate for the other size from Incra if you need to adapt it later. Those who have said this is beefy, or built like a tank are understating it - it's truly an amazing lift. This is the same lift made by Jessom (as is stated on the manuals) but with the added benefit of the INCRA MagnaLOCK reducing ring system - can't tell you how much easier this is, and it feels SOLID (I also added the accessories: a PC ring that accepts Porter-cable guide bushings & the Incra Clean Sweep Ring Set to go with my dust collection system for awesome dust collection - dust on my Router Table is almost non existent now). Was originally nervous about spending this kind of money for a router table accessory - however this has been a game changer in precision and I couldn't be happier. The only features I would have liked was a rapid lift for bit change (but this is not really a big deal for me, bit changes are accomplished in just a few turns and takes seconds), second would be an ability to zero the height gauge, also not a major issue. Maybe if they make a Master Lift III . . . . .

I'm very impressed with the sturdiness of this lift. It's smooth and accurate. The magnetic insert rings are brilliant. The only thing on my wish list for this item would be that the lift increment dial would be available in metric.
