I am giving this a lower rating because one end of the 3" dimension was more like 2 5/8" and the other end was 3 1/4", which made it very difficult to fit inside a 3"x10" duct. I had to customize sheetmetal to make it fit, which took a couple of hours of extra work. I expected a 3"x10" duct to be 3"x10" and it wasn't. I wouldn't recommend this product.
