Got a used violin at goodwill, and as always, any used instrument always needs new strings. Happy with purchase. Thanks. Kem. 1/9/25

The strings are easy to install and great for beginners! They were a perfect fit for a 4/4 violin.

I’ve had these strings on my violin several times over the years and was always impressed. For comparison, I’ve also used Prim, D’Addario Helicore, and (once) Thomastik Dominant. I’ve found that the Imelod’s perform very well compared to those more expensive strings. My practice repertoire (if I may be so bold as to use that word) includes traditional Americana, basic-to-intermediate Classical and even some Jazz. The Imelod’s are amazingly responsive, bright and clear. The ring I get out of the violin is pretty amazing with these strings.Recently, after using Helicore for about 6 months, I decided to return to the V6’s. Unfortunately, as I was installing the G string it sprung at the nut and the nickel sheath separated, exposing the steel core. I’d never had that happen with a G string before and decided to reach out to Imelod’s customer service. They replied immediately, apologized for the problem and said if I could supply an order number they would provide a full replacement set. They were true to their word and I had my new strings within just a couple days. I’ll definitely be buying from them again!

I like to play bluegrass music and these are good sounding strings for that. I have bought several of these strings over the past several years and they have served me well. They are pretty durable, bought 5 packs of these strings so far and none have ever broken. They do take a while to break in but once they do they stay in tune well. For the price I will continue buying these.

Replaced the decades-old strings on my second-hand violin after the G string snapped while tuning, and was amazed at the immediate improvement in sound quality. As a beginner, I don't have the most developed musical palette but can tell that the sound produced by these strings is superb for their cost. Very bright and full sounding, they were easy to put on and easily tuned. I definitely will buy these again when the time comes to replace strings again. My only gripe is that the E string didn't have the little rubber tube to place over the bridge to prevent damage that other string brands seem to have, but I just cut the one off of my old string and put it on and voila--no damage to the bridge so far!

Excellent quick service. I purchased these Irin V68 violin strings out of curiosity because of the inexpensive price and the 5 Star ratings. Having played and performed fiddle music for over 40 years I have tried many different strings from steel to perlon and back to steel. I am currently using Prim which are among the best in metal violin strings. However my newest 2014 violin made on this side of the Atlantic seems to prefer perlon or synthetic core although I could not resist trying these V68. They are a way too thin gauge for any of my instruments. Because of the price I will keep them as replacement strings when and if needed. But I am sorry, I cannot recommend them as a primary violin string set.
