Wife bought for her business along with a scale. It reads 20g &10g perfectly.-5g shows as 4g or 6g.-2g shows as 1g.-1g doesnt read. Not sure if its the scale or the weight itself.

I like that they're accurate and I appreciate the range of weights. Good value for the money. The only con is now I can't blame my scale's calibration for my mistakes.

If you wonder if your kitchen or jewelry scale is accurate, you need to get some calibration weights to check it, and this is an inexpensive set that gets the job done nicely. My particular scale isn't sensitive enough to register the 1g or 2g weights individually (they're really tiny!), but if I use a heavier weight, the added weight of these smaller increments will register. For example, the photo above shows that the 20g + 5g weights will register the 2g weight when added to them and show the total weight of 27g.If you have a professional scale that shows tenths or hundredths of grams, you will probably want a more precision set, but for most of us this set of weights will do a good job of verifying our scale's accuracy. And at this price it's cheap reassurance.

Small weights for calibration of small units. If weighing larger items, I suggest getting a 100 gm weight or multiples. I am a Metalsmith and I find these as well as larger calibration units useful.
