I use this for layout string and it works well. Nice quality string. I also use it for general purpose string around the shop. Just a tip, don't cut it, melt it with a lighter. That way both ends seal and do not unravel. The braided line lays out well and doesn't twist like the "twisted line" I am happy with my selection.

I recently purchased the Braided Nylon String, and overall, I’m quite pleased with its performance. 3,000 feet of nylon string, i'm sure we will mind more than enough things to use this on. Well, beyond what it's used for.It's a good nylon line, feels strong enough and the included reel works good

This is a very strong braided string. Even though it’s fairly thin, the color makes it highly visible. I used it between stakes to mark off a future driveway, and when that’s done I’ll move the stakes so as to denote my property line. This should hold up very well.

Very strong mason line. With a total of 3000' of string, it will be a while before I'm in the market, if ever, for more. I'm a DIYer with several applications for string line around the property, e.g., concrete forms, fence posts, deck construction, cinder block, etc. Hard to beat the retail price available on Amazon.

One reel holder and 6 reels of neon yellow string in one box saves me big $ - even from the red discount tool place where I have to buy this one reel at a time.I use this for our fence project to make sure my fence stringers are consistent across the span of multiple fence sections. Used when staking out the sides of a gravel path to make the edging installation consistent, and I’ll be using this to mark heights when I build our flagstone waterfall for the pool.There are so many uses for this string, and the reel holder makes it simple to lay out your project. The string is good quality, not thin and it doesn’t break when it is wrapped around ground stakes. Couldn’t be happier with this.

This is nice and thick, and one of the things that I needed this for is fixing the air handling units on the side of the house which sits on a hill. They were not level, and so I needed to remove them, create a level and flat platform, and then reposition them. The line is easy to see. I also use it for creating a more even, better defined walkway in the backyard, placing borders, filling in with stone, then pavers. It's good, I'm happy with it and probably have more than I'll ever use in this lifetime.
