I started having neck pain from wearing my stethoscope >40hrs a week, si I ordered this one. The quality seems okay, I don't think it will last years but for now it's good! At the begining I had to get used to wearing it because I kept putting it around my neck as a reflex but it got away quickly. I am a respiratory therapist so I work everywhere kn a hospital and I walk a lot and it never fell down even if i'm racing on a code blue! My neck is already feeling better after a week of use :)

I purchased this to replace my batwing and it has done the job. I have been using it for about a month. I really like how there is a holder for the bell. With my other holder, there was just 2 velcro flaps. I have a Littman Eko, which is a little bulkier, and the straps fit around it perfectly without inadvertently turning on the stethoscope. The bell holder makes it extra secure. I had instances with my other holder where I was walker down the hall and my stethoscope fell on the floor and other times where I lost the diaphragm to my bell because it was sliding out of the holder. The only thing that I don't like about this style of holders is that the ear pieces do stick out some and if you're not careful, you could potentially get them tangled in some IV lines. I hang my stethoscope from the top of my pants packet and not my waistband. My scrub top pockets are usually full which would make accessing the holder a little more difficult. The holder and stethoscope are no so heavy that it pulls on your pants, either. It's a perfect weight.All in all, give it a try! It has been a lot more comfortable to wear than having your stethoscope hang around your neck.

I love the concept, but this pulls the diaphragm off my headpiece ALL THE TIME. If you have a dual head , turn it to the bell or small diaphragm and you’ll be okay. It’d probably be okay with a Master Cardiology type because that retention molding is so much wider, but I’ve lost 2 Littmann 3M diaphragms to this.
