Exactly what I needed for my 5 year old! I wanted something thin but at the same time would keep my son warm. This merino wool base layer was perfect. It's a bit long and loose for him but it works. He said it is not itchy or scratchy. He said it kept him warm on a very cold day. Recommend!

Got these as a base layer for my boys, as well as a shirt. It's working so good keeping them warm in the snow. I layer these with regular clothes and then an uninsulated waterproof layer and they stay so warm!

I ordered a 7-8 for my 6 year old that is roughly 47” tall. They fit her nicely! I wish for a bit more that they had an option to buy the top and pants together. They are a little more difficult to layer with another pair of pants (we usually layer leggings over a base layer) but the warmth is worth it! Very happy with these and will definitely buy the top to go with it.

These washed just fine and are super soft. The added warmth is great!The size seems slightly small, but it does have some stretch. I'll probably order the next set a size up.The black blend in nicely. The fabric is super light and comfortable.

Wool is so helpful for staying warm (as well as other benefits). I was curious to see how they felt since sometimes wool can be itchy, depending on the quality, but my super sensitive kid has been happily wearing them with no complaints. They're soft and a pretty charcoal shade that goes with anything. Really happy with this.

I was in need of a new pair of thermal pants for my daughter this year and decided to give these a try. I own a pair of 100 merino wool and am happy with them, so decided to get these for my daughter. The merino wool is soft to the touch, and not scratchy as you would think. It holds body heat in really nicely. The best part is that wool does not hold odors easily, so these are a solid choice when lots of sweat is involved due to outdoor activities. The size chart is spot on, fits my 11 year old perfectly.

My sons loves merino base layer clothing. We’ve tried merino-polyester blends, but there’s no comparison. This Iguana brand totally delivers. It’s as thick as European brands we’ve tried. And just as soft. The sewing seems similar too. The only difference I can tell is these are less expensive.He will wear a pair of merino pants for 1-2 weeks straight. Then, depending on how I feel, I hang them outside in the sun for a day or I wash them with a special lanolin detergent. He can wear his summer weight pants (with these underneath) year round. It saves money overall from not needing a winter wardrobe.We ordered the size 11-12 and he’s 9. They fit loosely. I’d say they’re true to size or maybe even slightly large for their size. Which I think is great as it’s always better to go bigger than smaller. I’m hoping he gets at least a full year of wear out of them, same as his others. I am happy with Iguana and would order from this brand again.
