trying to see if my truck was getting spark. so easy to use I didn't need a remote starter to ck spark was able to set in a location were I was able to see from drivers view handy when you are doing this and have no one to help you.

Easiest way to quickly and safely test for spark output. I absolutely hate the sensation of being shocked. Like most, I've used the old method of testing for spark by putting a screwdriver or other metal rod into a spark plug boot on the end of the coil wire and holding it close to ground while cranking. It's hard to hold the gap consistently, and I've ended up getting zapped more than once. This allows you to plug your coil wire on one end and ground the other. The gap is set by an adjustment knob. The body of it is insulated, so the spark stays confined to jumping the gap inside the tool. Handy, and easy to use. Built very well for the price. I have no complaints.
