Bought this to protect my generator both in the garage and during hurricane season.I think this is a well thought out design. Installation of the frame was not too difficult and the covering itself is very heavy duty material. Used during a hurricane and kept the electronics portion of the generator bone dry while allowing the other sides to be opened to let the exhaust fumes exit appropriately.I really like how the panels on each side easily fold up and clip into place. Makes for a neat and clean appearance. I'd highly recommend this to anyone wanting to protect their expensive generator.

This generator cover seems pretty sturdy. It went together in about 20 minutes. I haven't had a chance to test it outdoors to see how well it keeps the rain out yet. Since I live in Florida, I'm sure I will be testing it out before the end of hurricane season. We just missed the landfall of Debby and only lost Poer for 1.5 hrs. so I didn't hook up my generator this time.

This cover is perfect for my generator. I bought a Generac GP9200E generator this fall. I knew it would be sitting outside (it is under the edge of a porch roof, but barely) and Iwanted something easy to use, but sturdy, to protect this new equipment. The assembly was easy when reading the instructions and it really seems watertight. I also like the way it is designed so that you can fold up the sides and run it without removing the entire cover. Every feature seems well thought out. This will be the first season for me to use it, but I feel confident it is going to work.

Bought this to use for my T09275 Firman Tri-Fuel Generator which I bought for an emergency home generator.Havnt used the cover yet, but thus far I am happy with the purchase. Simple yet effective design. Having one of the top flaps open for refueling is a well thought out idea.Assembly was simple and easy to do. Gave 4 starts as I haven't tried it yet. Looking forward to giving it a try.Material seems solid and overall in my opinion worth the money. Would recommend.

The IGAN running cover fits my Westinghouse model WGen11500TFc perfectly.... All the water-proof flaps, side covers, and refueling access cover seem to be durable and functional.... With the cover installed the generator doesn't require any additional storage space.... I carefully read and followed the instructions, and it took less than 45 minutes to assemble and fully install (no tools required).... Per the IGAN website the cover will not fit a WGen12000 (or larger, I assume).... When operating the generator all the side covers except for the controls / outlets need to be folded up and and hooked to allow for full air circulation and exhaust flow.... So, I don't think it's suitable for running the generator during a driving rain / wind storm even with the "high wind attachments".... But it should be OK for light to moderate precipitation and 15-20 mph winds....

Item came as described and in a timely manner. Product was packed very well, the instructions are well written and easy to follow. Took me 15 min to put together. Cover is made of high quality material. Spare straps came with the kit. Looks great, confident it will protect my unit, the material is extremely thick and seems to be waterproof. This cover fits perfectly over my Predator 13000. Highly recommend this cover.

I have a Powerhouse inverter generator and have been looking for a solid cover for some time now. We've tried tarps, makeshift covers or anything simple to protect it. Sure there are several covers on the market, however, many of them are made very cheap. This cover (although pricy) is very well made. The cover's material is the big selling feature. It's well made, thick and seems like it should last some time. The frame is "ok" though. It's nice and lightweight, but the poles are made of very thin metal and the plastic components are tight and easy to crack if you aren't careful with your assembly. A gentle touch is recommended here.Although my particular generator was not on their list of models, it still suits it quite well. As you can see from the photos, there is a decent overlap on each end. This is particularly useful for the exhaust side as it is far enough away to not heat up the material. The control side is still easily accessed and the overlap is helpful here for any larger extensions that you may have protruding. It keeps them covered from the elements. You can easily fold the flaps back down over an extension without it propping up the flap. The top flaps fold up on either side to access your fuel port. I'm lucky that mine is offset and not directly in the center as this cover doesn't allow for easy access to center fuel caps. All the other flaps fold up nicely and are easily secured in place with the included hooks. The velcro is also quite strong keeping everything in line. There is a more expensive version of this cover and after looking more closely the only difference is that it includes tie down ropes and stakes to secure in strong wind. You can easily make your own and save a few bucks. The cover does go on sale once in a while. It is an expensive cover when you compare it to other options out there, however, this one is well made and has several nice touch options that make it worth the price. Overall, if you're looking for a solid cover that will protect your expensive generator from the elements for years to come, this is the one to pick.Pros:Thick, protective materialEasy to assemble/disassembleCan fit or adjust to pretty much any type of generator. They include several velcro straps to tie down the frame to your generatorCons:Frame is very lightweight and easy to bendPlastic components crack easy if you force too much (just assemble carefully)Generators with center fuel caps will be more difficult to fill

I just purchased this cover for my Champion 11250 generator and received it the next day. The cover is of great quality and the installation was very easy. Those instructions are the best I have seen in a long time. Clear English and great pictures. The cover fits perfectly and is very sturdy on the generator. I ran the generator yesterday to see how the cover would work. It is easy to open (and to keep open with the hooks) and does not interfere with the operation of the generator at all. I am very happy with the purchase.

I am quite impressed with several things about this generator cover. Although I have only had it for about a month, I believe it will be very durable. It seems to be made of better material than the cover that came with the generator as well as the usual grill covers, etc.Secondly, the engineering behind the cover is impressive. It is obvious that a lot of thought has gone into it, and that engineering continues. For example, earlier reviews mentioned using tape to hold the various pieces together during assembly. The frame pieces now screw together, eliminating the need for tape and making assembly easier than described by earlier customers.Thirdly, the assembly manual is without question the best I can remember ever seeing. It is clearly illustrated with high-quality photos and clear descriptions. It is a refreshing change from some other companies that use poorly-translated manuals or documentation that is clearly an afterthought. You do need to read and follow the manual, as assembly is not necessarily intuitive, but it is made much easier by the clarity of the instructions.Fourth, I like the fact that the cover can be left on during generator operation, giving some protection to the electrical connection during rain or snow events. Most covers probably have to be removed when the generator is running, but this one can be left in place, with three sides rolled up for airflow and one side down over the electrical outlets.I can only mention two potential downsides to the product: First, I agree with posters concerned about rainwater pooling on the flat top, possibly leading to intrusion through the cover, or discoloration, or possibly even mosquito breeding potential. I wish it had some sort of slope built in for better water shedding. In fairness, that issue was mentioned in previous reviews and was clear in the photos, so I bought the cover with full knowledge of that potential, so I have no real complaint. Second, the frame supporting the cover uses some plastic fittings (presumably to reduce the size of the shipping box) to connect frame pieces. Two of the T-fittings in my shipment came with splits in the plastic on one leg of the fittings (photo). I assembled and used it anyway, and haven’t noticed that the splits affect anything, but I am uncertain about the long-term durability of those plastic fittings, particularly during cold weather. Time will tell.Overall, I recommend the cover for a generator stored outdoors.
