I love this for numerous reasons. There are too many uses for me to list. Attach it to any piece of scrap weed & get perfect accuracy for distance. I use it primarily on my table saw for the fence and blade, I have also used it to to space lateral shelving on my wall. Great product.

Just unboxed and so my only complaint is though it ships with a spare battery, the battery inside was dead.Makes me wonder whether when off will this unit discharge and in future will I have to remove battery when NOT in use. Time will tell
