The wax paper itself is GREAT: unbleached and exactly what I expected from a non-petroleum-based product. It's just one small way to reduce the amount of microplastics in your life (and your food). However, the box it comes in really drags the rating down. Good idea, poor execution. Both ends are just-barely glued shut. The whole works came undone and the roll partially unspooled out one side while I was opening the front flap before use. I had to stop, reassemble everything and tape the box back together on both ends. The front "cutting edge" is an attached raised strip of finely serrated card stock: biodegradable but functionally useless. If a metal attachment isn't wanted that's fine, but in that case THE BOX ITSELF should have a durable, reinforced & bigger die-cut serration on that edge (think less hacksaw, more steak knife), instead of some glued-on strip of business-card stock that flattens out with the very first use.TL;DR: you shouldn't have to struggle with a box of wax paper. If the vendor had used better packaging, this would be a 5-star product.

If your families health is important to you then this is the wax paper for you. I always do my research before making a purchase of any kind. I stay away from toxic material especially when it comes to food. I have been looking for an alternative to plastic wrap and aluminum foil. I’ve replaced all of my plastic containers with glass ones. This is the perfect wrap for sandwiches, to cover food and for making candy that you have to drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper. Yes it’s a little pricier than the old traditional waxed paper but if healthy choices is a concern then this is the way to go! I will definitely order again.

I use this product to wrap and cover food. It works as I expected (like regular waxed paper), it is just a bit expensive.

I like this wax paper that's made without toxic substances, feel better using this paper than plastic or bleached paper. Thank you!

Works as expected. I only wish it were a tad cheaper but I guess that's what you pay for less processed, non bleached products. I like that it uses soy instead of paraffin wax. Is paraffin wax even edible? I've always used that to soak my hands and feet in - yuk!

I was skeptical about whether this would work as well as "regular" waxed paper. Actually, I like it better! There is less wax on it, which is nice in the event that the food (cookies, for instance) is still a bit warm. I also like the thinner and more flexible nature of this paper; it's way less stiff and more workable than the regular stuff, without sacrificing any strength. I'll definitely buy this again.
