It is a bit noisy at the highest level but it really cools down my laptop. I usually use it during my video edits at the middle level but when my laptop gets hotter I push to the highest level for 2-3 minutes. I tried so many laptop coolers. None of theö made the job but this one is amazing

I can honestly say this cooling pad works great, the fan is loud but does it's job very well. When not using it my laptop runs extremely hot but with it the air coming out is cool. The USB hub is a great addition as well. The angle adjustment is great and easy to use. The design in my opinion looks good as well

I've been using this cooler now for over a year and it's one of the best investments that I have made for laptop. I am using this with a Lenovo Legion Pro 7i sporting an i9-13900hx and an RTX 4090. This combo can get quite toasty when gaming.Using this cooler I can play all of my favorite current AAA titles on the machine without it hitting max temps or throttling, and that is with keeping the fan speed set to just where it becomes audible. As other reviewers have stated, if you run this thing on full blast it is quite loud, but you won't be bothered by the noise if you're using headphones. It could be mildly annoying if not.I will say that based on how your laptop is designed, there may be a point at which there's actually too much air getting pumped through it. If I run this cooling pad on 100% with my laptop it will actually start pusing hot air from inside the laptop up through the keys on the keyboard and make the keyboard incredibly hot and uncomfortable to use. I've played with the fan speed and found the optimal level for my laptop and use case, you will likely need to do the same. The foam gasket gives a perfect seal on my laptop, with all intake air being generated by the cooling pad being forced through the cooling ducts on the laptop, and that's what makes this cooling pad superior to the rest. The forced induction of cold air really helps keep your laptop nice and cool as the large turbine fan on this thing produces way more static pressure than the tiny fans inside of your laptop are capable of.I highly recommend this to anyone battling a toasty laptop.

Ran Second Life Firestorm viewer at maximum graphics resolution with 20fps, draw distance to 1024, and maximum complexity 300K and in parallel ran Google Chrome browser with a youtube video playing. This pushed the NVIDIA GForce GTX1050 to 100% and Intel i7 to 25% with internal fan cooling only. The GPU temp hit +72C, turn on this cooling fan at low settings for minimum noise and GPU temperature dropped to +68C. Turn fan to maximum and the GPU temperature drops from +72C to +54C. Big difference and no thermal throttling! The cooling pad can be very noisy with the fan running at full capacity, but with headphones on, no system lag, no thermal throttling (usually clocks turned down), the noise is tolerable. Noise canceling headphones are best. If you do not want to used head phones, then be aware that this unit can be very very noisy at max fan speed. Next, the USB expander on the right side is perfect (one to three ports). I can expand one of my USB-C ports to three USB 2.0 ports. This is available on the IETS GT500V1. I used the expander for headphones, camera, and wired mouse. This product is from China (we'll see if it lasts, but Chinese companies can produce and export good products ... if they want to, so far this product appears to be of very good quality and solidly built).

The IETS GT500 Powerful Turbo-Fan laptop cooler has proven to be a reliable and effective cooling solution for my gaming laptop, delivering impressive performance and great quality that rivals more expensive alternatives. In comparison to the Llano Gaming Laptop Cooling Pad, I found that the performance of the IETS GT500 was comparable, if not slightly better, despite the significant price difference. At the time of writing this review, the price gap between the two products was over £25, making the IETS GT500 the clear winner in terms of value for money. One standout feature of the IETS GT500 is its intuitive design, particularly the wheel on the side that controls the fan speed. I found this to be much more user-friendly than the wheel on the Llano cooling pad, offering simplicity and ease of use. Adjusting the fan speed to suit my needs was a breeze, allowing for optimal cooling efficiency during intense gaming sessions. Moreover, the build quality of the IETS GT500 is impressive, with sturdy construction that feels durable and long-lasting. The powerful turbo-fan, with a speed of 4600 RPM, effectively dissipates heat from my laptop, keeping temperatures at bay even during extended use.Overall, the IETS GT500 Powerful Turbo-Fan laptop cooler is a fantastic investment for anyone in need of reliable cooling for their gaming laptop. Its performance, quality, and user-friendly design make it a standout choice, especially considering its affordable price point. If you’re in the market for a laptop cooler that delivers on all fronts without breaking the bank, the IETS GT500 is definitely worth considering.

Author's Note: I'm not well-versed in reviewing (let alone gaming pads because that's not worth my time or money), so I'll be frank with all I got.1. I don't use it consistently but when I do I use it for very long hours. Happy it hasn't broken yet (or deteriorated to my knowledge at that), which is what I wanted. Just something long-lasting so I don't have to buy another to replace it.2. I've heard noisier cooling pads but it's fine, it works well enough for me to up it up to only the half-full mark every time I play high-memory games, and so that it doesn't bother me so much whenever I use it. I haven't even used it on max yet. I once heard from a YT reviewer of this pad and they said it can be noisy too, but if you are using headphones/earphones anyway the noise doesn't even matter. So if you can handle the noise, or don't bother it, this pad is for you for any type of use. It works as a cooling pad should and does what I want it to do adequately, that's all I need to conclude.2a. The fan intensity wheel can be annoying to use since it's a wheel so I have to assume (by sound) how intense the fan power is, but it's not a big deal. I'm not sure what the USB ports on the right side of the cooling pad are for either, so I don't bother to review that.3. And since I mentioned, I watched quite a few YT reviews of this cooling pad and wanted to affirm that most of the reviewers and what they said about it are valid, just don't overestimate everything being said.4. Just be careful not to break anything, be gentle when handling it so it's worth your buck lol. Also, it is worth the price? No. Absolutely not. It should cost less for what its main function is, but since there's nothing better out there that's actually worth what I'm looking for in a cooling pad (longevity, isn't bothersome/doesn't interfere with my work, and works as intended), it might as well be worth the money if you're not up to craft something yourself. I suggest wait for a worthwhile sale to get it. Like AT LEAST a 15% sale.5. Also, sometimes it makes me a little chilly but it doesn't matter that much.

Basic Model: Update: even better after a couple of weeks use. 15-20’ degrees less under heavy use, (went from 95 to 80) and 30-40’ degrees less under light use. It’s perfect. NO RGB LED lights at all. But that’s besides the point. I noticed a 10-15’ (Celsius degrees) decrease in temperature both GPU n CPU. This was the first time use. It’s a bit loud but the same as the laptop fans on max speed. 17.3” Alienware 17 R5. Fits well. Sturdy. The front clips are well positioned and secure the laptop properly. (especially for a laptop V shaped front) I will update this review with further testing. So far I would highly recommend. It’s the only cooling pad that actually made a real difference. It’s quite loud on highest speed but thats the point, high speed strong fans will be loud. But not louder than what am playing n hardly noticeable with headphones. It doesn’t bother me I just lower or switch it off when am not using heavy settingsV2 model:After using the basic model for about 6 months my laptop started to get hot again, I think the vents needed cleaning and I always wanted to buy the V2 5000rpm model with USB hub and RGB lights so I went for it. And I was not disappointed. It is much stronger and cools my laptop around 20 degrees tops.It came with a 12v UK plug. USB-C cable to connect to the laptop in order to use the hub. Some comments mentioned the USB not working. One laptop usb port supplies charge marked by a lightning bolt, this is the port that enabled the usb hub to work for some reason I don’t understand as the cooler depends on external power but anyways it worked. The rgb lights work as expected. Now comes the important part. The fan is noticeably stronger than the basic model. My laptop went from 97 degrees on heavy use to around 80. And with light use it went down to 55 and the laptop fan itself was not needed so the laptop automatically switched off its own fans. Room temp was 25. It is v loud tho. But if ur using headphones u hardly notice. And when not using headphones I lower the speed. All in all this cooler is perfect. I have no negative remarks to report. Will update if I find any.If ur looking for a cooler that actually works. I recommend this one. There’s a reason I came back and purchased the more advanced more expensive model. It is pricey but I say worth the price since it does the job reliably. If ur looking for a cooler that has pretty lights there are many cheap ones out there. This one is a cooler. With pretty lights. In summary: it works.

Amazing laptop cooler that truly does what it promises. I have a decent 17" laptop that heats up quite a bit on full load during my development work or during prolonged gaming sessions. This cooler brought down the temps by at least 15 degrees Celsius and upto 22 degrees at times. It is absolutely worth the money (and I know it's overpriced here). When your computer is worth over 10-15 times the price of the cooler, it is a no brainer purchase. Completely recommended.
