I saw the IEEK 12 Liter Rectangular Plastic Trash Can on a YouTube video and thought it looked more attractive than other bins I have used. I used the shared link and bought one to try. It's actually a great trash bin for my bathroom! The lid opens and closes very smoothly. I like its the design for several reasons. I like that the bag folds over quite a bit, making it easy to put on and remove. I like that the bag is entirely hidden by the full top over-cover and held in place well. The shape is super. Because its slim it fits between the sink and toilet with a lot of extra space and it's not a big round or square odd open eye-soar. It surprisingly holds more than I expected. It holds as much as any other bathroom waste can I have used. I like that the lid is not foot operated and there is no clank closing noise. Basically, it's sleek, clean, quiet and easy to use. I am happy with it and will buy a couple more for my home.

This is such a cute little garbage can, I LOVE it for our small bathroom. It doesn’t take up any extra space and it looks so nice and clean. The lid opens very easily, my only complaint is that with the back next to the wall it opens pretty forcefully and the lid hits the wall unless you hold it from doing so. It is the perfect size if you want to reuse your plastic grocery bags for garbage. I was pleasantly surprised that it fits a lot more garbage than I initially thought. Also I just love that the top shell slides right off when you are replacing the bags. It is very easy to use, change the garbage bags, and to clean. It’s not tippy at all because of the way that the base is shaped. Just a very satisfying purchase in my opinion:)

I wrote a review of this when I bought the first one four months ago, but forgot to hit "submit" lol. Found it still there when I came to write this one, so here it is: "This little trash can is perfect -- brilliant design, with the lid part a separate unit that slips over the can. At my place it fits on the counter top next to the refrigerator and close to the sink so easy to toss in scraps. Only worry is how long the top will keep working. It includes a second plastic latch which suggests to me maybe they don't last very long and you can't get additional ones but at this price, who cares? Once they both wear out I'll just order another unit. Ordered at Amazon some rolls of small plastic liners as grocery ones really don't fit. Could not be happier."Well, it didn't last. One of the little pegs that hold the lid on broke and it wasn't dropped or anything. It just gave up. So you might wonder why I bought this again. For the reasons above -- the design is just so cool. Fingers crossed I get more than four months use from this one.Update: The same thing happened. The peg broke on this one too. Just ordered something similar but I hope not as fragile as these are. Too bad because, as I mentioned before, the design is so good but it's just not well executed.

I bought two of these trash cans. One of them works perfectly. The other wouldn't open completely. I discovered that the reason it wouldn't open all the way was because the lid was put on slightly off-center. This caused the back of the lid to scrape the can as it opened. I trimmed the back of the lid with a dremel which made it open properly, but because the lid was off-center, it wouldn't close without a lot of pressure. Eventually it was going to break. I got with the seller. They were very responsive and suggested I send it back for a replacement.In addition to the quality issue, I think these cans are a little overpriced for what you get. Twenty-three bucks for a two plastic tubes (essentially) and a lid seems a bit steep to me. Don't get me wrong; I like the design, as it hides the bag and is easy to put another bag in. But it's a very simple can and I don't think it should cost quite that much. But it seems all the other vendors of this style of can are charging more than I paid, so I guess it is what it is.Overall this is a nice design. The product description was accurate, which was a big help in making sure it fit in the small space I had. Would buy again if the price would come down a bit.
