Bought this for a trip to Alaska and pleased that I did. I’ve used it several times since as I appreciate the peace of mind I get that my belongings are waterproofed. The backing support is cushiony and the chest strap alleviates pressure when carrying heavier items. Totally recommend.

We purchased this bag for a vacation that involved being on a boat daily touring the Bahamas. It was PERFECT for us. It does keep everything dry as promised and the backpack is easy to carry around. We use it whenever we go boating. It's perfect as a carry on when flying, then you have it for beach, hiking, etc. wherever you are! We are very pleased that we purchased it.

I haven't gotten to use it yet, but I am impressed with the quality and am excited to use it soon. The bag seems to be constructed well. The handles and straps seem very comfortable and nicely padded. I expect to have a great experience with this bag while riding jetskis and kayaking. Will update the review if there is anything negative to say, but doubt it.

This backpack is the real deal!! We used it in Costa Rica and it got put to the test. For two hours it down poured on us during our night tour and this back pack kept everything dry! I have shoulder issues and this was super comfy for me to wear all day. Highly recommend and loved the small pouch too and inner pocket. Must have if u need waterproof!!

Got this bag for my hurricane -go bag. It's big enough to hold everything I need and handy since it's a backpack and not just a waterproof bag. My parents liked it so much they got the same one.I can't rate for if it actually floats and is waterproof yet, we will see how this season goes :-)

I have not had a chance to use this bag yet. It means to be made durable. The only thing I don't like is how stiff it is. Maybe with use it will loosen up.

I wanted a waterproof bag that I could take on our trip to Jamaica. It was comfortable and very roomy. The extra bag that attaches was perfect to put cellphones, wallets, a book, or paper in while you sit on the beach. It kept sand out of our stuff, and when the rains came up all of a sudden, we just put everything in the bag and didn't worry about it getting wet as we walked back to the room.I'm planning to take this bag on canoe and fishing trips this summer. Very durable and bright, which makes it very noticeable and easy to see. I would highly recommend this bag, especially at this price!

I got this bag after deciding to return a different idry bag. Basically I wish i could merge different features from their other bags into one lol!The other bag i sent back had a lot of pros, but the 30L was to big for me and the 20L was out of stock. That bag is it is wider (sorry I can't remember name of it) which I prefer to the traditional circular dry back pack everyone has. This one not quite as wide, definitely more circular vs rectangular shape of other version. I have it next to a dry tote bag from another brand I've been using that makes it much easier to find stuff, but I want the back pack straps. My tote bag is difficult when carrying lots of gear and trying to walk my dogs, plus i have neck and back pain. The other bag also has a clear pouch on the front and I like the way the bag rolls at top and cinches down on sides. It has a couple of attachment points on the straps and the smaller 2L bag is convenient to attach for small item like key or phone. There is a decent sized zippered pouch inside which is also clear. Love the clear to make it easier to find. I ordered yellow, keep in mind if you order black or another dark color it will be harder to find what you are looking for in a dark hole. That bag also had both a chest strap and a waist strap, but NO pouch for a water bottle. This Roll top version:This version is 25L, had the water bottle holder I wanted, only a chest strap and no waist strap (which I prefer less straps to trip over on boat or kayak, not hiking with this, although remivanle waist strap great idea!) It also has a very interesting padded organizer inside that is cool. Will hold a small tablet or my kindle and organize smaller items like chaostick, keys, etc. Instead of a clear sealed pouch on front, it has open mesh plus elastic ties so only things that can get wet would go there. Useful to put wet item like flip flops, or even a towel. I see benefits to both of these pouch versions, the mesh makes it easy to grab something quickly easily and the elastic means you can add additional item like towel or jacket. I also like the extra attachment points on the roll top and fact it has bottle sleeves. However, the sleeves are so small and tight I can hardly fit any of my reusable bottles in there. It is way too much work. No way would i be able to quickly pull out the water and put it back without 2 hands and unnecessary effort. Works great with a 16 oz plastic water bottle, but that is what I am trying to avoid using! I also much prefer the 2L pouch that comes with this version as it is translucent and can see items in the bag. The other bag also comes with 2L mini bag, but opaque.Final verdict:Great bags so far from idry bag. Lots of features I like and it was a little hard to decide between different versions. Honestly I wish I could take the extra attachments, translucent 2L bag, and water bottle sleeves on this dry bag and put then on the wider/rectangular version in 20L size. Although this one does have a more useful orgainzer inside, which is also removable, another innovative feature. The main disappointment for this bag is the water bottle holders may not be useful. They are also thin material so i completely expect they will rip or something. idry bag does have a 3rd backpack style that for the most part is more basic, and less expensive, than these two. BUT, it looks like in pics that it actually has a more useful water bottle holder that appears to expand better and cinches tight. That holder should be on all the bags and it would improve the products. I can't speak to quality yet, appears sturdy and if I get a small hole or seam issue later or after rough use, that is what aquaseal/tough tape is for. Great to repair dry bags and coolers, don't throw them out!
