My wife has MS, which has made it difficult for her to write legibly. I set this up with software on her phone and she is able to print address labels whenever she wants, much less expensively than the Brother label maker that uses plastic tape. It's quick and easy, even though it takes a little getting used to the software.

I sent the first model back because I needed to use from my phone. Which what this one dies, whether I am at home or on the road.

This is my second iDPRT label printer. I've been so pleased with the first one, which does all my package mailing labels, that I decided to get this one to use for printing plain address labels for envelopes. I was pleased to see in the Amazon listing that it was wireless, as I wanted to be able to access it from my desktop PC, my multiple laptops, and my Android phone. Reading the description text I thought it would be perfect. It isn't.The problem is that while it works great when used via USB, though getting the correct drivers installed and functioning was not very easy, and it will print from my Android phone, printing wirelessly from a Windows laptop is right out. The main issue is that Windows simply has no clue what to do with a Bluetooth printer. My desktop PC accepts and installed it fine via USB, but via Bluetooth it claims both that it's working perfectly and at the same time also claims it's not working because it has no drivers. If I were to plug it in with a USB cable I could print this page to it (and waste a lot of labels) but with it connected via Bluetooth Windows isn't seeing it as an actual printer. And since it's not WiFi capable, I can't use it as a network printer.I had really hoped that the fact it had Bluetooth would have ensured that I could have it a room away, happily printing out address labels for my Christmas cards, while its big brother SP410 chugged away in my office printing out the shipping labels for the gifts I mail out. Bluetooth it seems, is not the best way to wirelessly connect a printer and PC.Still a nice little label printer though.

worked, then issue with not printing to the labels, then just spitting out labels, now it thinks its printing, but nothing prints. It occasionaly works but just to hit and miss to be useful

The app for the printer is AMAZING. It lets you print custom labels and even provides templates. You definitely get your moneys worth with this printer with its many functions.

This thermal printer is outstanding and does everything that I need at my desk however, if they can make an improvement, it would be in the software. It’s kind of generic and not that user-friendly. It's super fast doesn’t take up much space even though it’s a little bigger than I thought. Loading and unloading the various types of labels is easy, and the directions were clear on how to use it. The printing does as expected and quality is okay.
