This hood is really well made. The fabric is soft. The Velcro is amazing. The sticky part of the Velcro isn't scratchy. I don't even know how it could hold as tightly as it does when it feels so smooth. The adjusting strap works well. I tried it out on one of my dogs so I could make adjustments to it. I'm so glad these hoods are being made.I got this hood for a local dog that doesn't have the best home life. She's a pitbull-type dog living in Montana whose people don't provide her with a shelter, a coat, or even any straw to sleep in. She often wanders around town looking for help. I'm going to get her a coat and some fleece pajamas, too. I won't steal someone's dog, but I will assist them to keep her from freezing to death.

I have a 90 lb pit mix and he continuously shakes this hoodie off. Kinda bummed I spent the money, I should have just continued using the sleeve from an old t-shirt that I cut up.

I recently got this ear cover for my Pomeranian, which has helped so much with grooming! I could always tell the blow drier bothered him around his ears and this helps calm him down. He has a tiny head and this fits well with a little extra room (I got a size small). The material is very soft and feels like great quality. It's super easy to use, all you do is velcro it to fit their head. It is very functional and has a variety of uses. I have had no issues with it slipping off or anything. Overall, I highly recommend this product!

I got this calming hood for my Pitbull. He has other hats that he can easily shake off and that never want to stay on his head. This hood fit him perfectly and stays in place! I use it to keep his head and ears warm whenever he’s outside in the cold. He doesn’t seem to mind wearing it and it looks adorable on him! It’s super soft and is washable.

This is perfect for my dog! I got a medium, and it fits my 50-pound pup just right. I mainly got it to keep her ears warm when she’s outside, and it’s definitely a great addition to her winter gear. The material isn’t very thick, but it’s double-lined, so it feels durable and unlikely to rip easily. The Velcro closure is a great touch, making it super easy to put on and adjust. Overall, a great find!

I ordered this pup hood to protect my pups ears when I'm drying her after a bath. She's a tiny 7 lbs right now so this works perfectly for her when completely tightened. I got the size small so it will definitely be able to grow with her for a while. I really like how it can tighten in various ways, both the drawstring on top and the velcro chin strap. It definitely seems to work for her and should provide some noise dampening during her blow dry sessions.It's a cute color and a soft texture and seems likely to stay on, so I would recommend it to others!

My mini poodle, who barks at the slightest sound (literally even a leaf blowing), actually calmed down while wearing this. The fabric is soft and stretchy, so it fits comfortable without being too tight. At first he was a little confused, but after a little time passed, he seemed much more relaxed. Would recommend if you have an anxious dog like mine! (The sweater is a separate item - it is just the hood)

I was so pleasantly surprised when I placed the "IDOMIK Dog Calming Hoodie" on my 8 1/2 pound sweetie's head and neck area; she did not try to shake it off! No shaking! I was amazed! She just calmly sat there and looked at me. I just learned that this little hoodie actually does calm my "full of energy" little canine!That said, I had a another objective while searching for this item online. In our extremely cold winter weather, it's quite difficult to find dog coats that actually cover the head and ear area without blocking their view while walking. Our coats that do have hoods on them are nice and warm; however, she manages to shake the hood right off so that she can see better! This hoodie is the perfect solution! She's fine with it! Her tall, delicate ears will be sufficiently and comfortably covered now!Other pluses:-It's very well-made!-The material is soft and warm.-It has a Velcro strap for ease of putting it on and adjusting the fit.-The adjustable drawstring easily sizes the hood to your pet's head.-It is calming and could be quite useful for relieving anxiety.If you might be searching for the same solution regarding your dog or cat, I recommend giving this hoodie a try! What really helped to make it work for us was the adjustable drawstring. I did pick the "small" size (she is a terrier mix), and found it effortless to adjust the fit! Success! 🐶
