Love the idea of just having to roll over the address on my junk mail since my mailbox is filled with that all day. Of course, important papers. I still shred the papers that just have an address on. I just roll over it and throw it away. Works very easy.

I liked it because it really works. It hide name-address and anything I didn’t want others to know. Also worked great on my prescription bottles.

I saw this device either in an ad or on a commercial within the last year. And I thought the premise was excellent. So I took this opportunity to grab one of these and see how it works. When I first got it out of the package I noticed that it was possibly leaking some clear liquid. I let it sit for just a while and then cleaned it up and dried it off. It works perfectly now, so I'm not sure what it was leaking or if it was that device that was leaking but it works great and I'm glad I have one. Five star rating.

I have ordered 3 of these - one first and two later. The first one arrived fine but one of the second two arrived with most of the clear/alcohol based fluid all over.I really liked the first one - the white (alcohol ) did a great job removing personal information from pill bottles and Amazon labels (though it was not a one swipe job - I did have to swipe it several times). The black was about the same as other black markers I have tried - print still visible when held at an angle. I did find that if I started to remove the print with the white side, the black side worked better.

NOT WORTH MONEY AND TIME. The lids were almost impossible to get off. When you were able to get the lid off, both the lid and the roller would fly in different directions and get ink all over everything it touched.I ruined a fabric covered dining chair and currently have no idea if I can get the ink out. UGH!!!

4.5/5 review; Does a great job of covering shipping labels etc before recyling. Just wish the ink didn't take as long to dry as it does. The thermal paper eraser part is decent, but does take a few passes before 100% of the text is removed.

I ordered this and had to return the first one due to leaking inside the packaging. The 2nd one I received was in much better condition although both had a very strong chemical smell coming out of the package. The pen is double sided— one end having a stamp roller to “black out” any printed sensitive info in documents. The sponge end is suppose to erase/remove thermo printed ink. The first time I used it, I realized there was a trick to using the roller— if you over saturate the area you are trying to conceal, it won’t really conceal it… you are still able to see the printing underneath in certain lighting. For it to work, you should only go over the area 1-2x. I use this feature for packages sent in the mail, personal documents before shredding them, anything that typically has my address on it or personal info on it. The eraser isn’t effective for anything. I use thermo printing for labels and I tried using this and it just created a nasty mess and destroyed the paper/label I used it on. I thought maybe I was using it wrong, so I tried several ways in using this but nothing worked. I wish this was made with just the black out roller, the roller is quite effective when used properly. Drop that weird chemical eraser end.UPDATE: I’m updating and changing my review because this actually works. This thing is so useful. The eraser end works well for most thermo labels and this thing looks like it can go for a while because it does not take much to erase a label. I erase my address from all my shipping labels from packages delivered then recycle all the packaging feeling secure that my home address isn’t just “hanging out” for people to see. All non thermal printing, use the roller. Really nifty tool I didn’t know I needed yet realize it’s convenient to have and don’t want to be without.
