AP-50BI COMPACT BATTERY LUG COMPRESSION LUG CRIMPING TOOL
The iCrimp AP-50BI is a mechanical full cycle ratchet tool that can accommodate copper compression connectors for #8AWG through #2AWG copper conduct. Tool comes with a color coded die wheel which rotates to provide a proper match of the die and connector. A ratchet mechanism assures the tool must complete a full cycle before releasing.
- Release trigger helps clear mis-crimps and obstructions easily.
- Comfort grip handles helps reduce fatigue during common use.
- Rotating color coded jaw allows easy identification and one hand die change.
- Eccentric adjustment button to adjust the tool to obtain the proper force value.
- Ratchet mechanism assures a full cycle crimp before releasing and provides stable platform for repeatable terminations.

First time in my life a first try on a tool brings me so much joy. Still smiling while writing this review. Feels and performs as any grade (A) professional electrician’s tool. Besides the fact that had to use number 6 (blue) selection for an AWG 4 wire for a most reliable crimp* (personal opinion); everything is top of the top. Thanks iCrimp for this excellent product.

They do crimp but as others have said they flex and I'm my experience with them at this point, it's best to use a size up for most sizes.

The adjustable head can flex easily within the housing. Make sure you're only using for the thin copper terminals.
