The original shroud was hit by hail and due to it's age was brittle and falling apart. There was hardly anything left of it. I replaced the entire roof of our travel trailer and this was the finishing touch. Look great and all of the screw hole matched up.

Replaced original factory Dometic Duo Therm Air Conditioner Shroud with this product (on a 2003 Skyline Nomad 299 Scout) and it fit like aglove. Easy installation. All holes aligned. Does not include hardware, but easily found metal screws on hand in my tool box that also fit perfectly. Great product, affordable price.

The plastic seems rugged. The old one was pretty brittle for too age and sun. I am glad I did not waste my time trying to make the old one last a couple more seasons. I did need to rivet it onto a trim piece, which then bolted to the base. Quite easy, except I was installing on site, and did not have them handy. Once I had them, it was under 30 minutes total install time, and looks great. Better protection than the original.

Easy install. Everything fit. I riveted an aluminum strip across the bottom at the back to stiffen it up.

The actual shroud fits well size wise, although some of holes for the screws were not aligned properly.had to use a drill to get the proper holes to line up. overall a decent shroud seems well built.

It is made of quality plastic. I'm confident in its durability even if it isn't as thick as the original. I bought it to replace a hail-damaged original shroud on my 2002 Starcraft popup. It fit well with a few issues: as noted, there are no holes on the rear-facing part, but a 30-second drill job fixed that. For mine, one of the two front-facing screw holes was misaligned. A quick new hole through the gray base on the unit solved that, too, so no biggie. The only true issue I took with it was the mostly-enclosed rear end that bowed inward and actually touched the fins, not to mention how it reduced air flow. So, my fix was to cut out that entire section to open it back up like the original. It took about 5 minutes with power tools to get it cut out and sharp edges sanded down. Now, it looks great and I'm sure it'll last a good number of years. If you don't have the means or desire to mod this a little, you'll get frustrated and give it one or two stars. It's worth the extra little time though, especially considering what is/isn't available on the market for this A/C unit.
