This is a cute little clock. Ordered it to help keep my early-riser grandson in his room for a little longer in the mornings. I like the face with eyes open and eyes closed. Set up takes some time to figure out but is doable if you have time to work it out. I also wanted to use it as a nap timer - to let him know how long he has to stay in his room if he doesn’t fall asleep. Not as happy with that. Why are the eyes open if he’s supposed to be napping? And there is no color change or anything to let him know he can come out unless you mess up and don’t shut off the alarm which wakes him up if he does happen to fall asleep. So, in my opinion, this is good for nighttime sleep training but not as a nap timer.

From night one my son has stayed in his big boy bed all night long while it’s red until morning when it turns green! This has made the transition from a crib so smooth!

This is a cute little alarm clock that my teenager picked out. I love that it’s small, great if you don’t have a lot of real estate in your kiddo’s room to set items out.It works well and plays songs instead of a screeching beep that kind startle littles. She loves it and I like that it’s not another stressful noise in the house!

Worked great for 24 hours and then wouldn’t come back on. Would charge just fine but never would come back on. Returned mine. Too much to pay for something to break in 24 hours

J'ai offert ce réveil à mon fils car mon petit-fils avait l'habitude de se réveiller la nuit mais avec ce réveil, il comprend lorsqu'il est temps de dormir ou le temps de se lever. C'est un formidable outil pour apprendre à l'enfant l'importance du sommeil. Vous pouvez bloquer les changements que l'enfant génie pourraient effectuer à son avantage lol. Je le recommande pour la qualité-prix et ses 5 étoiles.

I got this to teach my toddler to stay in bed in the middle of the night. It’s small and compact and I like that you can bring it to any room easily and doesn’t need to be plugged in. The settings are a little confusing to set up but it seems a lot easier than most of the other training clocks I’ve used. I like that it only has the red and green colors because some other clocks have a bunch of colors which I feel is more confusing for kids. You can adjust the brightness as well which is nice. The face on the front is adorable and I love the eyes open and shut.

What an amazing little invention! This has been such a great tool to help my son understand when it's bedtime still and when it's OK to wake up. You can even set a third timer for naps if you want. We use this only as a visual aid, so we don't use the alarm function (but this might be nice if your child is older and you need it to wake them for school). My son often wakes up throughout the night and doesn't know if it's time to wakeup (especially in the winter when it's still so dark out even in the morning). So it's great because he knows if it's still red it's still bedtime. But if he wakes up and sees it's green, he is allowed to get up. You can push any button to turn off the light. There's also a child lock so your child can't accidentally change the settings. Overall, thoroughly impressed with this nifty gadget!

The alarm clock is very cute!!! I got this for my little nephew as a present. We plugged in to see how it went. It showed a smiling face with a green light and a sleeping face with a red light, as described. I think it will definitely help my little nephew go to bed and get up without evening looking at the time. Highly recommended.

This LCD alarm clock has a green backlight when time to get up, and a red backlight during programmed sleeping hours – great for training a toddler when they need to wake up or stay in bed.The clock operates using alarms – you set an alarm for “time for bed” (the alarm sound can be turned off); this will make the backlight red for 13 hours (or until the wake alarm). The “wake up” alarm turns the backlight green for two hours.Along with the time, there is a face – during sleeping time, the eyes close. Our 2.5 year-old son really likes this feature, especially since the eyes blink during non-sleeping hours.We are getting our son used to this in preparation for transitioning him from his crib to a bed – he seems interested and I think this will be helpful to keep in him bed during the night.The clock can be plugged into the wall with the included adapter, but also has a built-in battery. The LCD display is clear looking head-on, but fades when viewed from the sides; and fades a lot when viewed upwards/downwards.We were a bit surprised by the compact size – this about the size of the palm of my hand.Overall, we are happy with the clock but would prefer better viewing angles and a larger display.
