Wanted a 95mm 720 nm IR filter to use with my full-spectrum Canon M200 for solar and lunar photography with the Sigma 150-600mm f5-6.3 Contemporary lens and 1.4x teleconverter. The lens has a 95mm filter thread. I have a Hoya R72 filter but it's only 67mm filter size so using step-down rings I only am getting about an f9.5 lens, then with the teleconverter it's only f13, 2 stops below the diffraction limit for 720 nm light which is about f6.3 for my camera. I got this filter and took Moon photos using both filters, and I was pleased to find that the ICE filter needed half the shutter speed (due to larger usable lens 'aperture'), and its Moon and Sun images are noticeably sharper with better contrast that the Hoya R72 filter, due to the larger diameter and less diffraction. I know the Hoya is a good filter as I've used it quite a bit for daytime IR photography, so I am very pleased with the ICE filter and this purchase.
