These ice cleats are easy to slip on boots or shoes. They stretch to fit and the heel tab makes pulling then on very easy. They prevent falls on ice or packed snow. They are small enough to keep a pair in your car. I also use them for winter hiking in the Colorado mountains. The rubber construction makes them light enough to keep a pair in your day pack. When running into muddy conditions., they are simple to clean by knocking off the mud and spraying with water. I like them so well that I have given them as gifts to friends and family members.

These are easy on/off and will prevent you from busting your butt on the ice. Whether it's just a quick trip down the driveway for the mail, or navigating that giant parking lot at the store, be confident you won't fall due to icy conditions.

This worked great to do a 2 mile hike with my 8 year old with small shoes. She didn't slip, while other people on the trail did, who didn't have these or crampons. Did the Alta Vista Trail in Mt. Rainer in mid-June, which still was covered in snow

Used these when we went to Finland. Crampons were recommended but seemed a bit aggressive for what we were doing. Glad we bought these and took them. We never once put the crampons on and were able to maneuver and easily get back and forth through the resort on snow and ice. They go on with little effort and usually just need a little adjusting once you get them on. The tab on the back comes in super handy when putting them on and taking them off.

These are great in theory but sizing was an issue. The back cleat fell into the hollow underside of my boot which then did not work. I did manage to pull the strap onto the high top of my work boot to get it to fit right. These would work way better on a shoe with a flat sole.

Started off great. I could literally jog across patches of slick ice with total stability and control. No slippage whatsoever! Fantastic for walking my dog around the neighborhood here in the cold winters of the northeast.I'd say follow the sizing chart for the right fit. If youre right on the cusp of 2 different sizes be sure to order the smaller option as these will stretch a good bit to accommodate a shoe size that is even a small bit larger than the maximum size the chart says it's for. This makes sense as you are typically wearing thicker boots in the winter with outside dimensions much larger than your normal sneaker. Do not buy these in a larger size than the chart says you'll need. They will hang loosely off your boots and will ultimately pop off in the snow / ice somewhere never to be found again. So why only 3 stars? Because after only a month of normal use the metal studs had been ground down to little nubs that didn't grab the ice very well at all. This could be partly my fault for trekking across pavement / sidewalks without ice on them a few times during walks, but honestly that's just going to happen in everyone's case and as such, I feel these studs should be made of a stronger metal that can at least last a whole season before wearing out. Also, the rubber webbing on one of mine is starting to tear and will probably fail all together in a few more weeks. For the amount of wear a product like this is going to inevitably be subjected to, a much stronger, thicker rubber should've been used.Final verdict is this: OK for the cheap price. Good buy if only using them around your property while shoveling / walking to car and back. Not durable enough for longer dog walks / neighbors walks in which sections pavement w/ no ice will be walked upon.

I have had a pair of cleats I have been wearing for over 14 years now. Winters in Michigan mean they got pretty heavy use and finally wore through the rubber (the plastic and metal are still like new!) so I needed to replace them. I couldn’t find the same ones I had, but thought these looked like an acceptable replacement. I was wrong. These don’t line up well, all the cleats for the heel fall in the arch, so I have NO traction in the back at all (hope you don’t walk heel to toe!) and while I would think that means I bought too small a size, they don’t fit tight, actually they’re so loose, the front traction slips and slides around to the side of my foot, so I don’t get much for traction there either! And they definitely don’t bite into the ice like my old cleats either. Now the worst part is that after wearing them maybe 5-8 times, the plastic is all chewed up and broken! My 14+ year old cleats plastic is still perfectly intact, and these couldn’t make it through a handful of short walks?? Very disappointing. If I could still return them, I would. I slipped all over the place taking the trash out this morning with these on, I’d probably be better off with just the traction of my boots without them. 0/10, do not reccomend!

I purchased a second pair just to have an extra pair on hand, but my first pair is still fine (I'm finished up my second winter with them). The first winter, I lost 3 of the spikes, but after realizing that if I made sure the grippers were resting flat against the soles of my shoes, I've never had another one come out (they're super easy to replace - you just poke one of the replacement ones through the hole left by the missing one). I live in NW Ontario, where we have snow and ice on the roads for a good 5+ months out of the year. I haven't had a single slip/fall since I started using there. Another thing I love about these is that I can put them on while standing up: slip my toe into them first, then lift my heel and pull them on the rest of the way. I've tried more expensive ones, but they rusted despite regular rinsing/drying, and those honestly didn't seem to work as well for me. The more expensive ones also required me to sit down and really strain to stretch the grippers to get them over my shoes.I don't know if this is typical, but mine took about 6 weeks to arrive (shipped from China?). It looks like you may be able to get essentially the same product more quickly elsewhere on Amazon, but you can't beat this price!

Ice cleats shipped quickly and arrived on time, I use similar cleats for work and they really do grip ice very well, you feel like Spider-Man walking around on black ice. I bought this pair for my fiancé because she has a long walk from her parking spot into work on city sidewalks, that may or may not be cleaned and salted. You just have to remember to remove them before you step on tile floors or they become skates, and the maintenance people will begin to dislike you for what you’re doing to their floors.
