It bows in the middle a bit. Just a little flimsy. I like the look, just could be a little more solid and sturdy.

I took a chance on this product despite zero reviews. All the moonroof wind deflectors are boring now days. Just bubble domes without any character. It's hard to find one with the "racing style" indent in the center. I had a car years ago with a deflector in this style and I thought would look really sharp on my new car.Unboxing, the shiny side was safely covered in protective plastic, and enclosed inside a thicker plastic bag, and then in the box. There was a wadded-up Priority Mail envelope in the bottom of the box to keep the product from shifting around?Well, that worked because it arrived without any scratches. Now, the cut edges are kinda rough, but the finish on the rest of it is really nice. It is a transparent, dark smoke color, and looks dark black from the outside; but tinted see-thru from inside the car.The product came with an instruction leaflet and as a bonus, an extra roll of 3M tape in case you screw it up and have to do the installation over! That was nice of them to include that, although I didn't need it.Installation was more difficult than I imagined it would be. The product is universal. It is not contoured to fit a particular model's curved roof. This product would work best on a very flat roof. My car does not have a very flat roof. It's a curved roof.Well, I dove in anyway after dry-fitting and figuring out my installation plan. After determining the exact placement without removing the tape backing, I used painters tape to hold it down (it moves around like crazy when you're trying to dry fit and measure because it's not sitting flat on the curved roof). Once I had it in place I then put more masking tape all along the front edge and especially along the back corners so I'd know exactly where to install it for real. With the masking tape in place, I cleaned the adhesion area with rubbing alcohol, let it dry, then applied some adhesion promoter. Game on! Installed as directed from there, pressing the tape into the body of the roof with a microfiber towel and smoothing it out around the edges.Uh, oh... The front corners kept popping up as I applied pressure elsewhere. I grabbed my wife's hair dryer and heated up the area around those front corners to get the plastic to relax a bit. It worked! The corners are solidly stuck on! I would heat this product up inside a hot car or with the blow dryer method to get it more bendy before installation if I had to do this again.Note that this does NOT look like it does installed on the BMW in the seller's photos. It's more low-profile than that (probably due to differences in the roof curvature of the two vehicles - I was having to push those front corners down really hard, which may have caused the more-flexible back edge to bend down, too). Your mileage may vary.Overall, I can't complain about this product for the price I paid. I think the tape will stay stuck just fine but I'll have to wait and see how the color holds up over time in the hot Florida sun.Take your time doing the installation. Measure over and over again to make sure it's right before you stick it on. And I would definitely recommend getting some adhesion promoter. But you do have that extra roll of tape if you screw it up!

It simply doesnât stick. It almost flew off my car, which could have caused an accident. Remove the product from being sold. I have returned the item, refund my money.

It is low profile like I wanted. I installed it on a Hyundai Santa Cruz. It does it's job. Lets you open the sunroof without the annoying wind noise.

Iv'e read some reviews about the tape being bad but I cleaned the paint perfectly and drove six miles and rechecked and where the roof curves a little bit it was pulling back up so I pulled it up with a heat gun and put on 3m brand and it's working fine after 100+ miles and all good. USE BETTER TAPE. The product itself is great and looks great
