Your cart is empty. The Easy Utility Stand supports a bike by the chainstays so unlike similar looking stands, there is no fiddling around trying to mount a
bike with quick releases. This economical, easy-to-use stand holds a bike steady with the rear wheel off the ground. Great for the home
mechanic for adjusting drive train or brakes, cleaning and other jobs.Ideal too for parking or storing your bike. And if you are a bike professional, use it to display a bike in a store or at an exhibition. The Easy Utility Stand is compact when folded, and lightweight, it is ready to go with you when you need it.

It is not sturdy. The rubber on the support is not fixed. Cheap Quality. Waste of money.

This is a useful secondary stand, it allows me to play mobile mechanic and bring my bike tools and this stand (on my bike!) to help repair friends bikes, but it’s a bit too fiddly for full time duty. It works alright for chain cleaning and some minor derailleur adjustment, but my 700cc hybrid with fenders and racks (weights about 35lbs) is a bit of a pain to get on and off with the additional hardware I have mounted to the rear of the frame. YMMVOverall, I’m happy with it, price is alright (I wish it were a little cheaper, but Ibera stuff in my experience lasts a long time so it’s probably justified). If you’re looking for a good primary stand on a budget I also recommend the sportneer brand repair stand.

Like the stand, has little spacing for rear gearshift cables, barely allows, when properly fit to chainstay, pedals to rotate.Essential for tuning derailleurs.Works well at that, extremely stable, slight woble,so don't forget to apply o-rings to tighten to chainstay.Fits well, just a little headachy to place onto frame.Shouldn't loosen frame holders that much, otherwise they slip, also loosen, extend, then tighten frame into position before attempting to mount.A little pricey, but Iberra is a great goto for tools and accessories.Save money tuning bicycles, and you will always be ready to hit the road.

Bike is a size large DJ bikes mid drive emtb with knobby 26” x 4” tires and is about 65-70lbs. Bike wobbles a little bit but not enough to be concerned. The handlebars can swing either way and it doesn’t fall over, I had trouble with my block of wood when the handle bars would suddenly swing one way, not an issue now. Rear tire has two inches clearance from the floor with the way I set it up, I could probably adjust that depending on how far apart the legs are spread. I can peddle by hand aggressively or throttle and it doesn’t fall over. I leaned on it with all my weight and it was fine, though I know it will not hold sitting on it. I think the structural integrity relies heavily on how you set it up, the more the legs are spread, the less weight it will hold. Also how close the stand is to the center of gravity of the bike will affect how sturdy it is. And the rubber o rings that strap it down keep it from tipping sideways, so use them. I also purposefully bent the width of bars to fit perfectly on my frame, so don’t worry too much about the width. Most importantly, You will need to be able to work on your bike on the ground, so you will be sitting or crouching or kneeling. You will also need to be able to lift the rear of your bike about 18” while stabilizing it and taking care to miss the chain as you rest it down. I can see how some might have trouble doing this with a 70lb ebike. But it is fine for me, an analog bike would be no problem. The base should really be squared off not rounded and a little thicker heavier bar would be nice, but it definitely works as is. It’s really small and light when folded which is nice too. I honestly can’t believe I was trying to justify spending $220 on a stand. My only downsides are the learning curve to fit it to your bike, the physical ability you need to get your bike on it, and being low to the ground. All of which are not a problem for me, just something to be aware of.

I needed a mechanic stand of some kind to use with my Specialized Rockhopper (2010) for basic tuning, cleaning, and adjustments, since I was sick of dealing with the bike upside down. I didn't want to go and spend the $200 on a Park Tools mechanic stand, also considering I wouldn't have the space for one in my condo if I wanted to. I looked at the other Park Tools knockoffs that were in the sub-fifty-dollar range, but their reviews were just horrible, and unsurprisingly so. I considered making my own design out of gas piping or PVC, but then I came across this little beauty. It's tiny and inexpensive, but sturdy enough for the types of repairs that I'll be doing (i.e. basic derailleur adjustments, cogset cleaning, chain cleaning, etc.). Once the bike chainstays are settled into the little industrial plastic brackets, and the included rubber O rings are fastened over top of each side, the bike really has nowhere to go and all of the moving parts of the bike move without interference. You can even pick the bike up with the stand still attached and move it around if needed. I rarely purchase items that don't have reviews, but I lucked out on this one and hope other people might give it a go because of my experience with the item. The only things that I might have changed were to add rubber feet to the bottom of the curved metal legs, to help keep damage down on the powder coating/paint and avoid rust, and possibly widen the base slightly to increase the stability even more. Those are slight mods that don't affect the existing functionality of the item, but would likely improve it overall. I won't detract points from it, considering it's likely at it's current inexpensive pricepoint by keeping it to the basics.I'm very happy with my purchase, since I would have spent this much dough on piping and supplies for my own DIY version that I planned to make from scratch. Plus, I saved a bunch of time.FYI: The plastic chainstay brackets that are pictured in black here are actually red on mine: Not that it matters, but I think it looks better, and quite possibly helps with viewing the alignment when lowering the bike into place. Probably a good change from the pictured item.
