This is an "early five-star review," based on my de-boxing, examining, mounting and a couple of short (empty) rides. Some have mentioned quality control issues with Ibera bags. I carefully inspected this one for loose seems, hanging threads, un-stitched zippers, torn fasteners, etc., and could not find anything amiss. The zippers were tight and smooth. The Velcro fasteners were firmly affixed and of uniform length. The piping was evenly done, and the overall proportions were as pictured.I have a 1990 Schwinn Worldsport, with a chrome-moly frame and a Xéfal pump mounted just in front of my seat tube. I was concerned that the one pair of Velcro strips might not make it around the pump and the tube. No problem. I had ample material to overlap at least a half inch, which firmly holds the bag in place to keep it from swinging. The width is comfortable, even on a narrow bike like the Worldsport. I didn't hit it with my legs, and unless overstuffed, I would not expect that to be a problem. The lower angle was also a minor concern for me, as I didn't want it to interfere with my bottle cage. Again, my fears were unfounded. When properly affixed to the top bar (i.e., with the top of the bag tightly against the bottom of the top bar), there is plenty of room for my water bottle to slide in and out of the cage without interference from the bag.Overall, this looks like a good value. It fits well, it seems to be made well, it is usefully outfitted with one inner zippered pocket and two outer ones (I got the large bag), it attaches easily (and securely), and it didn't cost an arm and a leg.

I like Ibera products. Too good. But the supplier does not have full range of Ibera products like panniers.

This is a great little bag. It's affordable, holds up well to the weather, and looks great. It's functional, too—I can fit my spare pump, tool, patches, and a few items that I carry with me while I bike. I can also put my bike lock in it. It does just what I want it to, and I have no complaints about its functionality, looks, durability, or price. One word of caution though: think about how this will impact your bike's placement on your car's bike rack. If your bike normally sits on the bike rack right by the central frame bar in front of your seat, that's where the bag is. That means that you might have to remove this back or slide it forward (which requires unfastening the connector on one side) to attach your bike to your car rack. If you have any sort of lines running there—like brake lines or gear shift lines—then you probably want to slide the velcro strips that hold this bad under the wire (so that the strips aren't squeezing the brake or shift tension lines). Doing that over and over is a bit of a pain. That said, this is still a great bag. For me, I just shift my bike forward a bit on our bike rack and don't have to detach the bag. But for some people, that would not work; if I had to remove the bag everytime I put this bike on a car rack, I would get a different bike or set-up some other type of connection.Overall, I recommend this bag to others.

This bag fits neatly within the frame of my bike, and within easy reach while riding. It needs a top tube, so step-thru frames won't work. The zipper is nothing special, and will likely fail, at some point. It's a standard low-cost fine-toothed pot-metal zipper, with a small tag that's hard to manipulate with gloved fingers. Put one of those little zipper pull extenders on it, so you can find it with gloves on. Also, the velcro strap at the rear is placed much lower than the zipper, so it's difficult to close the zipper with one hand, since there is no opposition to hold the fixed part in place. The bag isn't stiff enough, on its own, to offer any support. The fabric of the body is some sort of nylon, and not particularly robust, but it should hold up for several years, under normal use. I don't think there is any reflective material on the bag.The bag is roomy, and will hold quite a bit of stuff. A balled-up jacket will cause it to swell, however, and you might find that you're making contact with it if it's stuffed full. It will easily hold your phone, keys, wallet, maps, smaller tools, tube patch kit, gloves, glasses, snacks, etc. The velcro straps are a limiting factor in the weight that can be carried, however. They are sewn into the bag, but do not extend below the piping. I would recommend keeping the weight down, if possible. There are no external pockets, or internal dividers. If you're carrying smaller items (keys, coins, medications, etc), you might want to keep them in a smaller bag inside the larger bag.All in all, it's a good, low-cost carrier. It's not particularly robust, but it is adequate to most needs, and worth the cost.
