We got these for operation Christmas Child shoe boxes. I did not want balsa that might break on its first flight. I did put one together and it was easy to assemble. The foam components were straight so it looked good My first flight was not great, but I realized I did not have the wings perfectly straight. When I did, the next flights were great - straight and a good distance. Angle the wings if you want a loop. The propeller does not really spin, but the weight of the attachment helps and it will protect the nose. These are much better than other ones we had used for a give-away item.

I used these planes, suspended from the ceiling with fishing line for a plane themed bday party for an adult. They were a big hit and everyone got a plane to fly as a party favor. Enjoyed by all adults and children! These planes are colorful, sturdy, easy to assemble and fly well. Lots of fun for little money.

The unlaminated foam ones were easily bent when trying to fit in the wings or if pushing the propeller hub onto the front. These ones are laminated which adds support to the foam which is great. It also has crisper graphics because of it. Overall they fly decent enough. My only gripe is that the machine that punches the cut outs to insert the wings does not go through at times so I ruined one when the laminate tore off the other side. I use a blade or sorts to complete the cut. That's my only gripe.

I brought this product for my niece as she loves airplanes. She loves them and plays outside them quite a lot. She has a deck in the back of her house so she throws the planes off of that and they get some good air times. It is very easy to assemble and only takes a few minutes. The reason for the 4 star rating is because it take a bit of effort to get the propeller inside the front of the plane. I broke a few trying to do that. It didn't come with clear instructions so it was a little hard at first, but I got the hang of it soon. Please note that the entire blue part of the propeller does not go inside, some of it will remain outside of the clear piece that goes in front of the plane.
