This is just what I needed for my rain barrel. I am using this for my rain barrel that is on uneven ground. Due to the heavy duty legs, I dug in so that the legs could be on different lengths, and it is holding up the rain barrel without any problem. The stand is made of durable money, and it functions well for this purpose.

Very solid and easy to assemble. It does have a few extra hardware parts, which is nice, but luckily I didn't need anything extra. Once assembled I feel like this could support a decent amount of weight, assuming it's on a solid base. For now, I am planning to use this for a very large and very heavy potted plant that I move between inside during the winter and then out onto the screened-in porch for the spring/summer.This is a hefty price tag for what seems like a simple stand, but I believe what makes this expensive is the fact that it's stainless steel. If this was basic powder coated steel, I would expect a much lower price tag. But since it is stainless, I don't have to worry about it being outside in the elements and eventually rusting - even if the black finish gets damaged.I feel like this is one of those "buy once, cry once" items - and I am happy to have it knowing it will stand the test of time outside.

Nice Solid StandThe stand was easy to put together. There were extra parts which is always better than not having enough.It looks like a good height for a rain barrel. This way you can set your bucket (or whatever your putting water into below and easily transfer the water in the barrel to it.I bought the “Flat Rock Rain Barrel and AC Unit Paver Patio Pad 24”x24” Natural Sandstone Tile – Easy Installation” to put under it. I think if I just put it on the ground that the four legs will sink into the ground. I chose that “Flat Rock Rain Barral ..” because it was light weight. I think a concrete slab from the hardware would work too.I need to empty my rain barrel and then put it on top of this stand. I was going to do that this weekend and then it rained. I’m going to try to save the rain water by transferring it to an empty barrel and then back again once I have the stand in place.My rain barrel has a flat side to sit next to the house. I think that this might make the installation look a bit odd. It also a good height for getting water out of the rain barrel. You can place the item you're filling up on the ground and it is well below to bottom of the barrel, stand and barrel into place

This stand is SOLID. It's going to stay put, and will hold my rain barrel with no issue at all. AT ALL. I have a smaller 50 gallon that gravity feeds into a 200 gallon one, and wanted to elevate it a bit more and more the large one closer to my plants and lower down the slope. This will hold the 50 gallon one at a perfect height to completely fill the larger one and then shut the valve so it'll fill itself as well, and I have no doubts that this stand will hold a full 50 gallon barrel now that I've seen and toughed and lifted it.

I live in an area that gets lots of rain, so I will be using this with a rain catcher. However, this is a very strong, very sturdy stand that could be used for many more things other than a rain barrel.It states in the listing that it's stainless steel, and I hope it is, but part of me wonders if that's true. It also states that the paint is strong and baked on, however be careful when tightening the bolts as I had some paint flake off.There is no doubt this is strong and well made and I'm very happy with it.5 out of 5 stars.

Way overpriced for what this is - it’s just a painted steel frame - but designed and built VERY WELL for holding the intended weight.I’m going to be honest, I got this with the intent of holding up a big dog food bin in the house, so I didn’t have to bend down for it, and I’m sort of in love with it indoors. Great plant holder, basket holder, throw a cushion on it and it’s a great little seat or footstool. Super easy assembly and extra hardware included.

If you are going to use this for outside with a rain barrel, you need to set it up on some good strong concrete pavers/flat stone rocks... to support the weight so the little feet don't sink into the ground. It has screw in feet to make sure it's level. This is made of stainless steel with a nice black powder coat finish, but before putting it outside I'll give it a good coat of spray sealer for extra protecttion from the weather.This would also make a great footstool/seat with a cushion on it, as a plant stand... I'm using it for a round 25 Lbs stainless steel dog food storage container. You may think this is a bit high priced, but it's the first time I've seen a stand like this big enough, heavy duty enough to hold a 55 gallon rain barrel!
