incredible sound quality, incredible mic quality, not setup needed quick plug and play and simple. look no further than these, its better than my razer blackshark v3 pro which were way more expensive than this. These have incredible comfort the padding is so good and the build is very high end. Cord length is fine. range is dependant on cord lenght ofcrs. functions work. Very Nice!

I bought these to replace my old gaming headset. The sound quality is amazing, mic is crystal clear and they are extremely comfortable! If you aren't set on getting the white, the black cloud 3s are cheaper and the same quality. I paid the pink tax because I wanted headphones that match my setup. Worth it for me personally.

EDIT: i went through my words and my review and i said to myself "nah, this can't be right" then i went to 2 configurations (screenshots attached): 1. the dolby atmos app where you can see specifically how i eq'd for most app's, music and movies and 2. the ngnuity app that also have its own eq... unfortunately both have to be turned on in order to squeeze the full potential of the headphone, BUT in order to avoid the "box-feeling" sound (or at least eliminate it 85%), do not turn on the virtual surround in any app and maintain the eq the same as me.i used a few spotify tracks to properly eq according to several frequencies that may help you find the correct eq through the days but remember: there's a period of burn-in for headphones/earphones, it varies depends on the diaphragms and its own construction, this is not in our control, however, we can develop it by using it on a daily basis... with high-end headphones/earphones this is a must so you can get the best sound in time... this is the case for all headsets, but mid-ends may not see the same effect as high-end headsets...here are the spotify tracks i used to eq:- in my place - coldplay- funk that - nickodemus, the illustrious black- if anyone cared - nickelback (i know, but its eq it's quite helpful)- show me love - robin s- gangsta's paradise - coolio, l.v.- i get lonely (tnt remix edit) - janet jackson, blackstreet, teddy rileyi didn't post any pictures of the device since you can find it from other users that have more experience on that field than i am, but regarding this nitpicky audio thing, here i am. i really hope it helps you to make an informed decision.i still stand by my original review but, with the corrections mentioned above regarding sound :D have a great day!ORIGINAL REVIEW:Well... i have a love-hate relationship with this headphone for the following reasons:Design (which is actually ok, i'll give them that, with small caveats): i'm aware that there are people who are more... visually-appealed (so to speak) to stuff and this may not be the one, but functionally it's good! Everything is where it should be, however! (yes, oh dear!) the power button is next to the mute button on the left side, WHY?! who was so against the company that made this decision that went through the whole pipeline without even notice the final product until it hit the shelves?Construction (LOVE IT! PERIOD!): The construction is actually very sturdy and solid, love it from every angle, the earcups swivels a little bit so you can accommodate them to your head or when you put the headsets on your neck stays naturally "at ease", you know?... from this perspective, the construction is not what i expected (i actually expected a cheaper feeling, but it feels a more premium device to be perfectly honest!). It kinda works for long periods of time if you are a regular human being who doesn't sweat so much like me, otherwise, have AC on your room for longer than half an hour of listening.Sound (now this i loathe, kinda... here's where the love-hate conflict is): well... there are certain applications that really does sound good, others really flat, others really hollow and others without bass but in general, the issue is in the lack of middle and mid-lo's, which makes it sound almost like a box, but with too much high and mid-hi's. HOWEVER, it's perfectly balanceable with the Dolby Atmos App in Windows 10/11, but i'm not going to EQ everything i do every time in my computer, who does that these days? i just want something that it's functional and sounds good for long periods of time! is that too much to ask? (well yeah, for less than 100 bucks yeah... i can certify that.... these audiophile ears are way too nitpicky these days).Battery: well this is a surprise to be honest, i wasn't expecting it to last THAT long... i do 12 hour listening sessions and it lasts a lot... i don't count much but in a week maybe 2 times in a week, could be fair?... i don't know for sure cos i really lose the track of time when i get into the headphones... but if you want a headphone that lasts its battery a lot, well here you have it... i don't even notice it during the week (this means a lot to me! don't think that i take for granted what the company gives us with this headphone) until the headset starts a gentle beep to let you know that it's below 25% i think... i don't even remember that much because by the time i start hearing the beep i already take out the headset and put it to charge.Charging time: well i wouldn't know, maybe an hour or 2?... i have several headphones that helps the way, so i wouldn't notice how many hours it takes, the only thing that i notice is that it charges surprisingly fast (well, also time flies, don't take my word for it tho). If you go to bed time and you get up to go to the bathroom at 2 am, it will be charged by then... that's a certainty... YOU CAN use it while it charges, it won't heat the battery within (unlike many many headsets out there... if your current headset heats during charge while on your head and listening, stop using it immediately!).Microphone: It sounds... good? i think?... people hears me loud and clear on discord, which is the whole point of it (although discord have its own issues, so, test it locally within your computer and do not trust discord!) it's a very sensitive server that: it doesn't wanna recognize devices (or if it does, it doesn't work), if the devices works, then there's stuttering, cut audios, you name it, you know all these stuff like i do as well, you know the struggle!... If you purchase this product then FIRST test it on your computer, if it works well there then trust me, it's your application, not your microphone!Oh i almost forgot about the headband! i'm a bald guy so i kinda can see the band on my head when i take out my headphones... i personally love it because then people "notices that i work too much and too hard" and i'm like "yeah right! XD"... this is a paramount wisdom that i will give you that this headset have that almost no other headset have: if you press it too hard to your head it will stay with a similar pressure but at a comfortable level, but don't complain later about that you get a soar ear/face or a band mark on top of your head because it will make you hurt if you press it too hard, let it sit on you and get use to it.The earcup simil leather is a special case, it's hot but at the same time it's not... it kinda wants to accommodate to you but it kinda doesn't... i don't know "how to feel about this" (which i honestly at this point i don't care), but some people may worry or feel uncomfortable about it, so i'll leave it here just in case.. maybe with a few more hundreds of "burn-in hours" may found the proper wear for my face? We don't know... only time will tell... i don't think about it when i put it, i just think like "oh my god what a bad sound, but it does sounds good tho"If you read this, it means that you're seriously considering to purchase this product... if you don't honestly mind the kinda-hollow sound that some apps may have (you may not notice) and you're looking for something that potentially could last you a few years and spare the mistreated wallet, then go for it, you won't regret the purchase, that's a guarantee and i'm saying this because that's exactly the reason that i bought it and probably the reason you will as well, including a very valid reason: it's functional without needing to baby the product! (i know! right?! finally!)BUT i you are looking for a high-end sound with neutral balance or warm sound with balance mids, lo's and hi's, for below 99 dollars (before taxes), trust me, there's no such device and this product DEFINETLY is not for you, look elsewhere without even hesitation... ALL devices that you're looking for worth from 399 and above (maybe 299 but that's a stretch these days).

As a regular CS2 player, I’m always on the lookout for gear that gives me a competitive edge, and the HyperX Cloud III Wireless headset delivers in more ways than one. Right out of the box, the build quality feels premium, with a sleek black-and-red design and a durable yet lightweight frame. After several hours of gameplay, I can confidently say this headset is a solid choice for FPS enthusiasts.### Sound QualityThe 53mm angled drivers make a noticeable difference in CS2, where sound positioning is critical. Footstep audio is crisp and easy to pinpoint, giving me a clear advantage in clutch moments. The bass is deep enough to make gunfire and explosions immersive but not so overpowering that it drowns out the mids and highs. The balanced sound profile is perfect for competitive gaming, where every detail counts.### ComfortThe memory foam ear cushions are an absolute game-changer. Even during marathon CS2 sessions, the headset stays comfortable with no pressure or fatigue. The adjustable headband also ensures a snug fit without being too tight, which is a huge plus for long play sessions.### MicrophoneThe 10mm detachable microphone is another highlight. My teammates have commented on how clear my callouts are, with no distortion or background noise. The mic’s quality makes it perfect for tactical communication, which is crucial in CS2 matches.### Battery and ConnectivityThe 120-hour battery life is no joke. I’ve gone several days of heavy use without needing to charge, and the 2.4GHz wireless connection is flawless—no noticeable latency or dropouts, which is essential in a fast-paced game like CS2. The range is also impressive; I can grab a drink from the kitchen without losing the connection.### DrawbacksIf I had to nitpick, the headset’s sound signature might not appeal to audiophiles who prefer a more neutral profile for music, but that’s not its primary purpose. Additionally, while the wireless connection is solid, I wish there was a wired option as a backup, just in case.### VerdictFor CS2 players, the HyperX Cloud III Wireless checks all the boxes: excellent sound positioning, all-day comfort, reliable connectivity, and an outstanding microphone. It’s a headset built with competitive gamers in mind, and it shows. While it might not replace a studio headset for music, it excels at what it’s designed to do—give you the edge in your favorite games.

Sounds worse than its predecessor out of the box in my opinion, but works fine after playing with my EQ. Active noise cancelling built into the mic is fantastic. Doesn’t cause discomfort whilst wearing glasses. Higher build quality than Logitech and Corsair products of similar price that I have owned.

I think that they finally made the perfect gaming headset. They have always been the best in class regarding sound quality at this price point. The multiple iterations of the Cloud have largely been the company slowly addressing points of failure and upgrading things like its connectivity and surround-sound software. In the original Clouds, the hinge that attached the earcup to the headphone band was external and held in place by a cheap plastic piece that eventually just cracked over time regardless of how careful you were. This was the most common point of failure, so they changed it. The Cloud 2 had the first internal hinge on the earcup and it solved the problem perfectly. Unfortunately, it merely moved the common failure point up the headband to the cheap plastic cuff that they used to secure the metal forks to the rest of the headband. In the Cloud 2, this plastic cuff would eventually break even with very careful treatment due to the torque that is placed on it so that the earcups conform to people's heads. In the Cloud 3, they finally got it right: Internal cup hinges with a metal cuff to attach the ear forks. Perfect. I keep examining these for the next probable point of failure and I really can't think of any. So, now you can get some of the best sound in the industry in a tank-like package that should last ages. They finally ditched the foam pop filter, which I never had a problem with but might degrade over time. The new mic is still decent but probably not the best sound quality in comparison to some competitors.Probably one of the coolest things that I did not expect was that the receiver dongle comes with an extension that allows for either USB-C or USB connectivity. If I were to wager, this is the most likely point of failure if you use this with a laptop or are taking the dongle out frequently because it is a little delicate and long with the USB-A attachment on. It is a really cool feature that expands the headset's compatibility with recently released laptops with only USB-C ports.
