Works well, chills my hot coffee down quickly. The plastic version did not last long, it cracked after 6 months. The company was fantastic in replacing it, but I was so happy with the concept I bought the stainless steel one. Works great

Easy to use and set up. Makes the coffee cold so fast. Worked great with my Kureig. I wish I would’ve known about this a long time ago. I’m the person that drinks cold and frozen coffee in the dead of winter. I’ve been cooling down my coffee for years using ice. I love this little thing. I want to buy one for all my coffee loving friends. Totally worth the buy. Would absolutely buy again. I might just get a second one to have frozen for cocktails.

This is my second hyperchiller. My older version is still functional, but after reading about the improvements I decided to try it out. The improvements made are no lie! The caps are definitely easier to to both screw on and screw off. I always had to ask my husband for help when I changed the water. Now I can do so myself and I am a 70 year old woman with small hands! Yes it pours better too. I’ve used a hyperchiller for about 4 years now so I feel fairly experienced with how to use. I make coffee in my French press every day and ice about 16-20oz per serving. I do have to chill it with two rounds with the hyperchiller. For me I find I need to do 2 minutes for each cycle. So it’s make my coffee, chill about 12 oz in round one, then pour in about 6 ounces for the second chill. Again another 2 minutes of chill time. Now you do still need to add ice to your coffee, but not as much and my coffee is not watered down. I purchased the stainless steel version this time around. I’m very happy I upgraded. I am curious to see if the outside sweats a lot in the summer, but for now it is great.

I’ve seen a lot of people complain about the quality. I haven’t had any issues. Works well, and chills my cofffee fast. I rinse it after every use with warm water. I don’t add sugar but wash jt every few uses. I keep it in the freezer too.

I was thrilled to come across this product; it is such a clever idea! Living in Hawaii, we exclusively drink our coffee iced and have been putting it in the fridge overnight to cool it down for years. Sometimes we forget to do it at night, then you’re either drinking it hot, or watering it down trying to cool it quickly. So this product is a game changer. You do need to freeze it beforehand, so I’m not sure if this will replace our everyday routine or just be for emergencies or those days you decide you need an extra one in the afternoon. I love that the design of this chills the coffee without watering it down at all, so you still get your full coffee flavor and taste. It only holds a smaller size coffee (looks like between 8-12 oz), but one ‘freezing’ can still cool down 2-3 canisters full before needing to pop back in the freezer. It’s really easy to use. I opted for the Stainless Steel style and I find it attractive (more so than the plastic ones). All the parts are metal and feel really well constructed and durable. The Stainless Steel also makes it easy to clean. Such a great invention! Very functional product that makes a great gift for any (cold) coffee lover!

The ad for this reads, “The HyperChiller will CHILL your coffee in less than 60 seconds. Take the edge off a hectic morning by enjoying an Iced Coffee on the go. ” However, the instructions say, “In as little as one minute, the coffee will have cooled down by up to 130 degrees F (54 C). Pour via the spout on the opposite side of the lid into your cup and enjoy!”Per the FDA Food Code, you cannot hold food less than 135 degrees F for food safety, which is HOT enough to minimize bacteria growth. My point is not food safety or bacteria. It’s that this product will only cool to 130 F, 5 degrees less than what is required to HOT hold food. It’s simply brought coffee (typically brewed 190 to 200 degrees F for best extraction) down to 130 degrees F.If you pour fresh brewed coffee into this (previously frozen) device, wait the allotted amount of time, then pour it over ice, you better have brewed your coffee really, really strong, as 130 degree coffee poured over ice may bring it down room temperature (70 degrees F) by melting all the ice and watering down your coffee significantly. Room temperature coffee does not equate to cold or chilled coffee to me.You’re better off brewing coffee the night ahead and keeping it in a cup of your choosing (not this device) in the refrigerator overnight. In the morning the coffee should be cool (~40 degrees F) and any ice added to it should remain ice, resulting in an actual ICED coffee with a good coffee strength (not weak or watered down). For these reasons, I cannot recommend this product for coffee. It may work well for wine and spirits, cooling those down from room temperature to something cooler and maybe “chilled” in about 90 seconds.

This is my second hyperchiller. My first plastic one split down the side. Along with everyone else's. So I bought the stainless model.UPDATE-upon freezing, the threads pop apart and have to retighten the top every time. Now the threads on the inner chamber keep coming unfastened and the inner chamber falls loose inside the outer one. Resulting in hot coffee melting the ice and mixing with it, resulting in watery coffee. This is an inherently bad design no matter stainless or plastic. Results in constant frustration. I do not recommend at allI think the one I received was a return but it looked fine. Upon assembling it, I found the main outer cap would not thread onto the base. I am a machinist and am very familiar with threads and cross threading. It took me a 45 minutes to thread the top on this unit. I think because the stainless steel base has plastic threads fastened to it, there may have been an out-of-round to the base threads. I literally tried probably 100 times to thread the top on correctly. Finally I found that I had to press down a bit more then I would have liked to start the thread. There was a little pop sound, and then it started correctly. I did not want to cross thread this unit and have it leak because the threads are just plastic. One shot. I am confident this unit was returned because someone could not thread. I even tried my old top from my cracked unit and it was the same issue. The problem is the plastic threads attached onto the stainless base are imperfect possibly due to out of round or egg-shaping.

I saw this product recommended by an influencer I follow, and I trust her opinions and even still I thought this might be gimmicky or useless, but I wanted to try it anyway because I hate a lukewarm “iced” coffee at home, or really watered down coffee with all the added ice, so I figured it was worth a shot when it was on sale. This works quickly and exactly as advertised. It only takes a minute and your coffee is perfectly cold and tastes wonderful, not watered down or bitter like old coffee. It’s a little bulky in the freezer but worth it for easy and delicious at home iced coffees all summer!
