Bought this for my ginger moggie who is a little psychopath and eats his food in 0.12 seconds. Luckily with this pad I can smush the food in to it with a fork and he has to take some more time eating it.

These are the BEST lick mats I’ve found. They actually stick to the hardwoods & don’t move around when being licked, like other mats I’ve purchased. Definitely a SUPER set of mats.

I bought different lick mats for my cats to try with their raw food. The cats enjoy using their lick mats and it slows them down so another cat doesn’t have as much a chance to steal from them. It seems to have a nice calming effect while eating and has been good for overall anxiety throughout the day for one of my cats which came as a surprise. I like how these mats are stiffer so easier to have them stay up rather than fall over in the top rack dishwasher but I wish it was slightly smaller to fit a little better or I wish it can go in the bottom rack of the dishwasher like a plate. I do wish it didn’t have the four quadrants and instead be a little smaller. I put the food in the middle and try to get to the quadrants the best I can instead of the middle because it’s hardest for them to get food out of the middle part.

Product seems a lot more robust than one I experienced when my dog was younger which she just effortless tore apart. This one is much better, more weight, generally stronger and easy to clean. She patiently licks off all the pate I spread. No attempt to do anything with the mat. She is older now. Her younger self would probably have treated it more like a toy. I would have liked a bit more information about the material it is made from. I did do a search on line to satisfy myself this is not harmful.

These mats change the peanut butter game in our house! Our 2 dogs (and us too quite frankly) are all addicted to peanut butter! Now, rather than holding a spoon or using a bowl or plate that the dogs will scoot across the whole floor while trying to lick off the peanut butter, we can just spread it on these and set them on the floor with no fuss. It takes the dogs longer to lick these so they stay occupied for longer. (Great when trying to cook without a golden retriever and a lab at your feet!)While these do still slide a little bit on the hard wood floor it is not bad. They also don't get flipped over, which was a concern of mine originally.The best part is that they are dishwasher safe! And they come out clean!I am so happy with my purchase and so are my fur babies!

I like this lick mat quite a bit. It is very sturdy and i don't worry about my dog chewing it to pieces like the silicone ones. There is rubber on the bottom but it still slides around and makes funny noises on the hardwood floor, but I don't think my dog minds it. I consider it extra exercise, haha. It is fairly easy to clean but does require scrubbing sometimes since you cannot bend it to get bits of food out of the nubs like the silicone mats. Overall, it is very nice and my dog enjoys it a lot!

✓ My puppy is scared of baths and it is almost impossible to get him into a bath tub. This licki mat is my life saver! Now, I can't imagine bath time for my 6 month old Goldendoodle puppy without this!✓ This product is of a good quality. Dishwasher safe.✓ I smear some dog safe peanut butter and yogurt on this mat and then freeze it. I take it out of the freezer right before my puppy's bathtime and lure him into the bathtub using this. He becomes fascinated by the treats in this mat and is totally focussed on licking it that he forgets that I am bathing him. Gives me a good 20 minute window to bath and clean him!✓This product does not have suction cups to keep it in place. That does not bother me since I like to hold it in my hand and move it around so that my puppy moves accordingly. This makes it easier for me to wash him. But I think it will be a problem to those who are looking forward to use this as a crate training tool.✓ My puppy loves to chew and shred things in general but he has not succeeded in shredding this mat apart. So far he has only been focused on licking rather than chewing this mat. I make it a point to remove this mat once he is finished so that he does not get a chance to ruin it.✓ Also, I use this mat solely to help my puppy through bathtime which is once of his most stressful situations; thus increasing the effectiveness of this tool in reducing his anxiety. In case this mat is available to him all the time, he will eventually get bored of it, therefore reducing it's effectiveness during stressful situations. This is one important point to keep in mind in case you are using this licki mat as a tool to reduce anxiety!

I've used this mat with my two dogs and cats and they all love it. This is a great mat for picky eaters since there are four sections (but to be honest, I don't think pets are as picky as kids). I originally bought these because they were the biggest and for the best value. I've since ordered ones with a ton of suction cups on the bottom that is smaller and I do prefer those for my dog that likes to slide the mat everywhere and for the shower for bathing. The suction on this mat is almost non existent but works fine for one of my dogs and my cat. I will say that the material is not too flimsy which makes it harder to clean.

1st. My dogs love these. They are both rescues and come with their own little loveable "issues" which result in a little anxiety. I keep these in the freezer ready to go when that happens so I can redirect that energy. This is something that they have to be monitored with at all times so they don't chew it up as it's very flimsy.2nd. Unless you have a dish washer, this is not easy to clean. Luckily I have a dishwasher and this is cleaned and sanitized easily.3rd, for ease of spreading...it just depends on what you are trying to spread. If it's on the thicker side, you'll have to use your finger so it gets down in the grooves. Otherwise the dog will get it clean in just a couple swipes. I tend to use thinner things because I freeze it for a couple hours, so this is a non issue.4th..and the only real complaint I have. This slides all over the floor. My dog then puts his foot on it to anchor it..and then I get foot prints with what ever treat I've put on it. I just have to make sure he doesn't get on the carpet before I can clean the pad of his foot. It can be a mess. But this is not enough for me not to use them. This calms them both down when their stress levels get a little too high. So thank you for making this product.
