You can use to clean dressing with antiseptic fluid to clean wound. You can also cut the dressing to size to put on wound before applying bandage or plaster

It is a very good absorber. It does not irritate the skin (if you are not allergic). It is not sterile.

I used these after an eye op after buying some from Boots which were hard, scratchy and expensive they are lovely and soft just like the ones used in the hospital, I would buy again
