I have had this for over a year and forgot to post a review. It is an amazing light for my garage. All I had was dim lighting but this made a world of difference. I hung it right above my work bench and it lights up the whole garage. Definitely recommend it!

This unit is light as a feather compared to the old timey fluorescent bulb/ballast jobbies I'm used to. Nice and bright; easy peasy to install; very low profile.

I have a 5 foot work table in the corner of my sewing room. Since I often match colors, I need a daylight color-accurate light. Up to now, I had been using a floor standing OttLite. No matter where I put it, I was always bumping into it and it only lit up about 1/4 of the table. I really wanted something that would light the whole table and not be in my way.Looked at LOTS of lights in store and online. This was the only one I found that had the correct color temperature (5000 Kelvin) to duplicate daylight. Installed it in about 15 minutes. Just turned it on and WOW! My whole table is lit up and color is as accurate as sunlight. Well worth the money, especially when you consider that OttLites run anywhere from $100 - $200.

Simple and bright, just what I was looking for. Hopefully the longevity of the bulbs lasts a good while. The pull chain could be a bit longer, especially if you plan on mounting it to a ceiling, and the clips at top ends of the mounting chains could stand to be a little more robust but both are very minor inconveniences.

I bought this to replace an old school fluorescent light fixture of similar size. I wanted something that didn't require old fragile light tubes or plug-and-play expensive retrofit LED tubes.While this isn't exactly heavy duty or sturdy, it certainly seems well built enough to do its job, especially since it's either mounted on the wall or hanging suspended - in both cases, it's not going to be in contact with things that can damage it.The mounting instructions were accurate - I wall mounted and the distance noted between screws was spot on. Also, there were a couple of holes on the flat inner part between "tubes" that allowed me to use a couple of extra screws for safety vs relying on only two screws that the fixture gets "slid" onto. I live in CA, so earthquakes are a thing and it's better to be safe than have a fixture fall down and break or damage a car.The brightness is very good, and it didn't get hot, so it seems efficient enough. While it would be nice for easy of not having to reinstall a new fixture to have replaceable tubes, as long as the LEDs last as long as they should, it shouldn't be an issue as we don't use the light often and the life should be many many years.All in all, a nice economical purchase that seems well suited to do its job.
