Appealing External Wood-Like Grip
This ABS wood-like appearance grip adds a touch of nature to aquarium.
Ergonomic designed curved handle allows you to dig in hard spots. Covered in felt, the grip slides around the fish tank smoothly along as you clean.

Internal Scrubbing Pad
The scrubbing pad is covered in hook, velcro-like fabric which will scrub away tough stuff grows on glass as move grip around the outside of the tank.
When grip and cleaner stick together, rotate grip by 90 degree and put a paper card between two to separate it.
Float Design
Once detach from the external grip, the internal pad floats on the surface for easily retrieve. Magnetic cleaner will attached on the tank when not use it and ready to go anytime.

How to Swap Blade?
To take down the blade takes a little force: thumbs on both sides of the blade to push out.
Attention:
- DO NOT use magnet cleaner if you wear pacemakers and implanted heart defibrillators devices!
- Due to strong magnetism, please keep it away from CHILDREN!
- Careful handing required, be careful with fingers.

It does work well to clean the aquarium, but the combination of the magnet and the velcro makes it too difficult to pull apart once they stick to each other. I tried with all my might and finally had to use a knife to pry them apart and it was super difficult. The magnet is actually too strong.

The quality of this product is very good. The wood feel makes it look pleasant to store. The metal blade is good for glass and doesn’t scratch. This will take any algae off the wall and works great. The price is set right.

I like that this works great but I don’t like that it creates a shutter in the water and freaks out the fish. It basically skips across the glass creating small little waves and noises. It does work really well and even scrubs off hard water spots with ease without the blade attachment. I don’t really use it tho because it scare’s everything in the tank.

After trying many different glass cleaners and scrapers this one is what I've been looking for.It floats, but the magnet strength means I can actually move the scraper from corner to corner without it falling off. Even when it does... It floats!The metal blade does a great job at removing the stubborn bits of algae.I recommend the investment.

I took this out of the box and am going to save the scraper ends for later when I need them most. I mainly purchased to save time during routine water changes by not having to scrub the glass with the buildup between changes. This allows me to swipe it across each end/face of the tank and keep the algae at bay. I tried testing how strong the magnet was out of the box by sticking them together. BAD IDEA. I had to pry them apart with a knife wedged between to get them apart! The velcro that scrapes the algae locks into the fabric on the other size and you can't twist it at all to get it apart. SOOoo don't test it out before putting it in like I did! Trust me they are super strong magnets and work just fine, so keep that in mind when joining them on each side of your tank. Great value/size for the money and I look forward to NOT having to scrub the glass each water change because I've been able to keep up with it without getting my hands wet!

Update: I’ve had this for a year and a half and it’s still great! Only downside is that I have to replace it due to some sanitation issues —not due to the product, but I cannot for the life of me get it clean enough to kill off some sort of bacteria that has infected my tank 3 times. Not sure if maybe it’s the scrubber section? But a 30 minute bleach bath didn’t do the trick. Anyhow, still a good product, and worth the money under the assumption that you’re not replacing it.Like other reviewers, I had never heard of Hygger or seen them in any of my local fish stores, but the solid reviews made me hopeful. Let me just be clear: this product is FANTASTIC for a glass tank.My 30gal tank was in rough shape - green algae, hard water residue and worst of all, red slime algae (cyanobacteria) taking over my glass. The two scrapers I had before (one with a "soft" scraper, one with a "hard" scraper - kinda feels like velcro?) couldn't put a meaningful dent in it.The exterior handle on this product is comfortable, and it covers a decently large area so you're not cleaning like 2 inches at a time. The magnetic grip is super strong but not impossible to separate like some people warned. You just twist one side 90 degrees and it slips off. But this also means it's not falling off in the tank. Even if it does, the scraper side FLOATS! My last scraper would sink into the substrate and then you have to clean it thoroughly so you're not accidentally scratching the glass with tiny bits of substrate. Not a problem here. The scraper itself did a pretty good job breaking up the newer algae growths and hard water residue. It wasn't quite tough enough to break up the red slime algae, but clicking on the razor blade attachment was very simple and I didn't even get my fingers anywhere near the blade. The blade made relatively quick work of the rest of the algae and the combo of blade and scraper made cleaning a breeze. Finally, my tank is back to a clear quality and I can enjoy my pets again in all their glory. Taking the razor off to store was also very easy and once again - did not run into any issues in terms of nicking fingers.Only thing I can think of is that if you have an acrylic tank you might have an issue because it's so effective? (Update to add you can use the plastic scraper provided for acrylic tanks.) A bow front might be a challenge too, not sure as I've never owned one. But for a rectangular glass tank, this is perfect. Definitely worth the price.

Probably one of the best scrapers that I've used so far. The magnet is really strong and i have no issues with it separating on my rimless tank, which is 8 mil thick. The 2 different blade attachments are a nice touch: one is plastic and the other metal. I used the plastic blade and it easily removed the algae after a pass. Does not feel cheap in any way.My one and only complaint: the bottom of each half is essentially similar to velcro tape. The half that stays on the outside of the tank has a pretty high pile. If you store the scraper (I don't like leaving it in the tank) by putting the 2 pieces together, you may have a hell of a time prying them apart when it's time to clean. The velcro essentially latches on. Add the fact that the magnet is strong and you'll have to apply quite a bit of force to separate both the magnets and the velcro at the same time. I needed a butter knife to pull them apart and pry the pieces loose. So spare the cursing and just put something like a paper towel in between for storage.Overall great product. Highly recommend.
