I have two setups and have tried several fertilizers. Most are two-part dry granules such as this. It's easy to use - just combine 5 ml granules from each bottle with a liter of water and add to your system. The only drawback is the price. If you aren't sure you are going to keep doing hydroponics, you might want to get this so you don't waste a larger amount. But there are similar fertilizers that offer five times the fertilizer for just a couple bucks more (at least at the time I wrote this).

I tried these recently and my plants seem to be doing well! It’s a little more work to mix it yourself and I’m not entirely sure on the benefit. Cost effective? Lasts longer? I was under the impression at first that this was a concentrate and that I would get more mileage for the cost and plastic bottle. Based on the instructions that doesn’t seem to be the case, but it’s working fine, so I guess it’s ok.

This has the same ingredients and amount of ingredients of plant food that came with my original homophonic machine. It is the same-looking bottles, and you use them the same way. I needed more plant food, and you can save money and time getting your plant food from other places sometimes for your hydroponic machine than the original places you may have gotten food from before or that came with your machine. As for me, I couldn't even find the place to get the original plant food that came with my machine. So, when I found these and some others online, I was very happy. So, I got this one and used half already in two different hydroponics machines I have, and my plants are doing well in both. Each bottle has the same dry ingredients needed and already in the bottle. You cut the tip off with a pair of scissors and fill the bottle with water to the top or to the line that is near the top. Just leave enough air in the bottle so you can shake it and mix it together. Just make sure to keep your finger over the tip you cut off. Then replace the lid. There is enough plant food to use it twice. At least in my hydroponic machines. And when I say twice, I am referring to when you are either putting the water in for the first time or replacing all of the water in one hydroponic machine. The water can evaporate pretty quickly especially here in the desert where I live but it gives me about a few months' worth of plant food approximately. Of course, this is an estimation because I am not filling up a new tank but rather only replacing a bit of the evaporated water every few days and then replacing just a small amount of plant food maybe once a week. So, it depends on how much water you are replacing. It works well in these machines, and I will continue to get them for my plants.

The homeleafy Hydroponics Nutrients, a two-part granular plant food for indoor hydroponic systems, is an incredibly concentrated plant food that has transformed my indoor gardening experience. This product is cleverly designed to provide essential nutrients to hydroponic plants, ensuring they thrive even without soil.Initially, I was a bit perplexed by the necessity of having two separate parts, labeled A and B. Each part must first be mixed with water before adding the solution to the hydroponic system. The instructions clearly emphasize that the undissolved crystals should never be directly added to the hydroponic water. My wife almost made this mistake, thinking she could just toss the crystals in, but we quickly realized that it would have been a large error. The nutrients need to be thoroughly dissolved in water first to ensure they can be properly absorbed by the plants. The process is straightforward once you get the hang of it. You mix equal parts of A and B in separate containers of water, creating highly concentrated nutrient solutions. Then, you add these solutions to your hydroponic water. This step requires a bit of patience and attention to detail, but it’s a small price to pay for the impressive results. One might wonder why the product isn't available as a single mixed solution. This question crossed my mind too, but I realized that keeping the components separate prevents any potential chemical interactions that might reduce the effectiveness of the nutrients. This two-part system ensures that the plants receive the full benefit of the nutrients when they are combined in the hydroponic system. The 200ml bottles of A and B nutrients provide about ten applications for a hydroponic system that holds two liters of water, like mine does. This is quite economical, given the potency of the nutrients and the results they deliver. From my experience, a little goes a long way with this plant food, making it a cost-effective solution for indoor gardening enthusiasts. The effectiveness of homeleafy Hydroponics Nutrients is evident in the growth and vitality of my plants. My cherry tomatoes have never looked better. They are vibrant, red, and taste delicious, with a sweetness that indicates they are receiving all the right nutrients. The cilantro, too, has flourished, growing lush and aromatic, perfect for adding fresh flavor to our meals. One of the most significant advantages of this plant food is its suitability for various types of plants. Whether you are growing leafy greens, herbs, or fruiting plants, the homeleafy Hydroponics Nutrients provide the essential elements needed for robust growth. This versatility makes it a fantastic choice for anyone with an indoor hydroponic system.Another point worth mentioning is the clarity of the instructions. While the product works exceptionally well, the instructions could be more detailed, particularly for beginners in hydroponics. Clearer guidance on the mixing process and the importance of dissolving the crystals could prevent potential mistakes and ensure users get the best results from the start.Overall, the homeleafy Hydroponics Nutrients Plant Food has earned a solid 4-star rating from me. It’s an effective and economical solution for indoor hydroponic gardening, providing essential nutrients that support healthy, vigorous plant growth. The two-part system, while initially a bit daunting, proves to be beneficial in maintaining the potency of the nutrients. With a little care in mixing and application, this product delivers impressive results, transforming the way plants grow in a hydroponic system. For anyone serious about indoor hydroponic gardening, this product is definitely worth considering. It has enhanced the productivity of my garden, and I’m confident it will do the same for others.

Got this for my hydroponic garden where I am doing veggies like lettuce, kolorabi, pepper plant and broccoli. It's crowded, but my plan is to thin out the lettuce since it grows so fast. Then the bigger stuff will have room to grow. So far, this isn't burning out any of the plants, and they look healthy. The lettuce tastes really good. The other stuff isn't ripe yet, but the plants all look really healthy. I am new to this indoor gardening and am doing it to keep the winter a bit more cheerful. It seems like the rate I am filling the water tank, this will last me maybe 2 growig cycles for about 16 plants in a 6L capacity tank. This is an estimate for sure, it could be more cycles, but probably not less than 2 growing cycles with how I am feeding the plants. I recommend this.

After the end of my harvest, I had a busy period that prevented me from dedicating time to a new grow so my system and supplies sat dormant for a few months. In this time, my liquid nutrients had apparently gotten knocked over and evaporated. I got these to test switching over to dry nutes to prevent further accidents. They come with easy to follow mixing instructions and seem to disperse quickly without sediment. My plants appear to be doing well on them.
