Gave this as a gift to our daughter-in-law who loves it. She went hiking for a day with us & it worked just as expected. She likes the size, the zippers, the comfort, and the color (red).

This is a decent low-priced pack with one major flaw. I ordered two of these (they were on special for just $20) for winter use, and both had multiple kinks in the drink tubes from having been packaged recklessly. The tubes were clearly bent in radii that were too tight. All they needed to do was get this detail right, and I would give 5 stars. The pack is a little heavy for its size, not severely so, and it has a convenient elastic strap on the back for carrying an extra layer of clothing. I like everything about it and will use it as a cold weather pack, when having more storage room than my usual packs can be very helpful. It seems to be well made.I was able to solve the kinked drink tube problem on one pack by cutting the tube slightly shorter at the bite valve (where the worst kink is) and reconnecting it to the bite valve. Speaking of which, the bite valve had a little spacer to keep it from sticking shut before first use, a very thoughtful detail which would have been nice on some much more expensive packs I've bought. The slit in the soft silicone of these bite valves can meld. One had a bite valve stuck so tightly I had to use a knife. The flaw in this pack (kinked drink tube) is something I can easily solve. Shouldn't have to, but it's not a huge deal to me. I expect that for many people who are less handy/tolerant, it would be a huge deal. And it would have been so easy for the manufacturer to get it right, just by coiling the drink tube with a larger radius. SMH.

This backpack is great, comfortable and light. A little hard to clean the water bag but worth it

As a hiking enthusiast, I couldn’t be more pleased with this backpack. The built-in water reservoir is a game-changer, allowing me to stay hydrated on the go. There’s plenty of room inside to fit all my essential gear, and the shoulder straps are comfortably padded, providing great support even over long distances. The material feels durable and well-made, and the design is thoughtfully laid out, making it easy to organize everything. Overall, it’s a fantastic combination of functionality and comfort—perfect for any hiking trip or outdoor adventure.

This is a very nicely designed hydration pack. It includes everything you need to carry along a days worth of essentials for hiking, biking, and similar pursuites. I do a fair bit of motorcycling and this is very similar to a name brand pack that I have used for that where you have a smaller front section for smaller items like wallet, keys, and snacks, and then a larger main compartment for the water bladder and bukier items, like clothes for layering. You can also "sandwhich" stuff in between the two with staps that allow you to cinch the two together.I also appreciated some of the smaller design details, like the integrated emergency whistle, the rain fly, and there is also a small pocket on the front of the larger compartment that has a microfleece lining - perfect to store your phone. The inclusion of the water bladder is also a nice addition and makes this a fairly complete offering that offers a lot of value at a reasonable cost.
