This fit my Logitech C920x perfectly. For $7, I can't complain. Easy to install and use. It slides right into place. No sticky residue! Tip: If using with a brand new Logitech C920, remove all the clear plastic protectors on the unit before installing this privacy shutter. Then slide it into place.

No adhesion as it just clips over top of the camera, but works perfectly for it's purpose. fits well around the lense so there are no camera issues and covers up fine.

The lens cover does serve its purpose but the fit is sometimes wonky that when you push against the camera, it bumps off.

I had been using a 3m post it note to cover up the camera lens when not using it since I got it 2.5 yrs ago. I recently bought a newer Logitech webcam and it came with one on it so I searched for something like it and I'm glad I found this one. It looks EXACTLY like the one that came on my new webcam and goes on the same way too. When I got it, it snapped in place easily and I literally can't tell the difference between the two camera covers. If you have a Logitech webcam that this one fits...get it. You won't find a better one. One pic is of the 922X wit this cover. The other is my new Logitech C920S Pro that came with a cover.

Prior to buying this cover, I had been using tape and Post-it notes to cover my webcam when not in use, but I was sick and tired of wiping off the sticky residue. I didn't realize aftermarket covers existed for these webcams, so the tape and Post-it notes method had been my go-to method to maintain privacy since I purchased the webcam. I don't remember how I ran into third-party/aftermarket webcam covers, but I eventually found myself on Amazon exploring different cover types from different brands.My computer case is wall-mounted just above one of my monitors, so I needed a cover that wouldn't require having to be flipped all the way up to stay in place since the bottom of my case prevents a cover from being able to be flipped all the way up. Based on the description and reviews, the HUYUN cover seemed to have enough friction at the hinge to maintain its position at any range between closed to fully open, and sure enough, it does! It turned out to be exactly what I needed and hoped for.I was a little nervous purchasing this cover because I saw some reviews stating that it didn't fit the C920. However, the one I received fit nice and snug, ensuring a secure fit. I'm able to open the cover easily, and as I stated before, there's enough friction at the hinge to keep the cover completely closed, partially open, to all the way open. For me, it works as I need it to.

This is far better than those stick-on privacy cap. Don't ever get those. They are small and they leave a residue on the lens. This lens cap cover the Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920 perfectly. You just need to push it down and you have complete privacy whether your computer is turned on or off.

This does exactly what you want it to do. I can't think of what you might think would go wrong with it, but... it has never fallen off of my camera (a Logitech C920), even with me moving the camera around from time to time. It was also very easy to install. Installation was not so difficult that I worried about anything breaking or getting scratched.Buy this if you want a privacy shield for your Logitech C920! (Oh, and as of me writing this, this was definitely the cheapest option.)

I'm angry I had to buy one of these on the principle that these are just pieces of plastic that probably cost 50 cents to make. If you are in the situation where you need this, you have a lot of core problems to deal with. I'm fairly tech savy so I doubt I would ever get caught in a situation where this would save me. That said, I can't help but have that lingering irrational fear in the back of my mind that says, "What if?" In regards to that, this product completely quells that irrational fear. I give this product full marks because it fixes that "problem."For some reason at the time of writing this review, the product picture does not look like the unit I bought. The product picture is a square while my unit is more of a circle. My unit covers the lens while still allowing me to see the blue LEDs that would signify that the webcam is on. My unit fit's perfectly on my webcam and the cover is not loose.
