Works as designed, but the massive amount of plastic flashing along the seam of the threads made it thread into my tank crossthreaded. I will attempt to get a new plastic base from BJE and use a file to clean the threads up before attempting to thread it in again. MUCH higher quality and easier to read than the typical cheap gauges. The design also allows you to thread the insert into the tank without the float in place, so you can install into a full tank without banging the float into the walls, other pipes, etc. Once in, you position the float in the best direction, screw the glass cap down and youre done. Great design. Will update this after replacing the plastic base.
