We recently upgraded to a 33' trailer from a 26-footer. We had the right hand bar installed when we purchased the smaller trailer, but didn't realize we'd need another because the newer rig is longer and sits higher than our original.

Using one sway control pulling a 29 ft trailer helped a great deal but decided to try a second one, as recommended for any RV over 24 ft. It made a noticeable difference to minimize any sway. Easy and straight forward to install.

The bar works well and not bad to install but the hardware supplied is cheep. I could not reach the required torque on the self taps without them striping.. had to drill through the box frame and install two bolts where the holes were over sized after striping the self taps.. over all good product buts needs better grade of hardware.

Works well for me used two weekends now pulling my trailer. Much safer for highway trucks passing now!

My wife encouraged me to buy and install this. We already had a right hand sway control kit. Our travel trailer is just over 20 feet long and weighs about 5,000 pounds dry so according to specs, a second sway control shouldn't be necessary. BUT... whether is it my driving or the pick-up we have (the 2017 RAM 1500 is known for a soft rear suspension... very smooth, quiet and car-like when not loaded), the extra sway control was a fantastic addition. The trailer only moves under the strongest of winds now. We are very pleased with the results of having sway control kits on BOTH sides!

Perfect for what I needed. I needed a second sway tamer due to feeling a loss of control in winds or when passed by trucks. It helps.Installing was easy. It didn't come with lock washers but it hasn't loosened up at all after several long trips. The service department at the RV dealer wanted $200 installed. I bought a drill bit on Amazon and did it myself. I think it was 11/32"

After seeing a few of these sway bars, I'm convinced they are mechanically the same, just some have a rubber cover over the handle and others do not. Essentially the same product, but you are paying for a name. I purchased this in conjunction with the for use with our 27' Coachmen trailer. With both sway bars, the trailer was manageable on the highway with 40mph cross-winds and served well at 45mph on the Mackinaw Bridge! I only give this 4 stars because one of the screw heads broke when torquing to the required level - fortunately I was able to drill it out and replace with one of the spares that came with it (8 screws came with it but only 6 are needed). Otherwise an excellent product, especially for the price!
