We use this on our tandem ebike. Lots of storage. Waterproof? It is NOT and the rain proof cover is falling apart after 2 months. The zippers are typical waterproof zippers, you need to be careful when opening and closing them cuz of their snug fit. We have no issue at all with the zippers. But because of the rainfly and lack of waterproof issues I do NOT recommend you wasting your money on this pack.

I like the panniers size, shape, quality, waterproofness and seams but, virtually ALL the zipper handles broke off within 2 weeks. They are of poor quality metal and broke right off. Fix that minor thing and you've got soon good panniers.

I used these for bikepacking and was so glad I bought them. It's a great system that makes storage easy and attaches easily to the bike. They aren't water proof but come with a cover. I would take garbage bags to line the panniers with if you are biking in the rain. nothing is really waterproof if it has a zipper (in my experience). but the material is water resistant and heavy duty.

Overall pleased, not waterproof without rain fly over it, resists water fairly. I’m not a diehard cyclist but it works good for extra capacity. Side bags didn’t strap perfectly cause bike didn’t have the support bars like most racks. Put on old Dutch bike.

There are many zippers on this set. Hopefully, this is a rare quality control problem. The broken two-way zipper is for the main compartment of the backpack.

Forget the reviews that say these will not work on a recumbent trike. Very high quality and a perfect fit. Zippers are hard to operate but it is because they have the waterproof type closures. Exceptional buy compared to others to I looked at.

We have 2 bikes and bought different "3 in 1 panniers", but this one is by far the better one.Very easy to install. Super handy upper part that comes of as a backpack, attached with 6 adjustable clips which are enough to sturdily fix it to the bike so that it is not loose, but also super quick to remove so it takes 10 seconds to remove it and bring it with you as a backpack (very useful, for example, to store valuable items that you want to quickly carry with you after you have parked the bike).Plenty of storage, I was able to bring home an entire brisket, a 20pound roast, and 3 racks of ribs all at the same time in my last costco run thanks to these panniers.
