Clamps like these are hard to find, but this one worked perfectly for my application. The bigger knob is easy to turn. I used it in a pretty thick hose and it did not bend or distort.

This clamp proved useless for stopping water flow in a fridge ice maker 1/4 inch plastic water line. I attached clamp and turned down the adjustment screw with hand pressure until I couldn’t turn it any tighter and water continued to flow forcefully. I then applied channel lock pliers to the adjustment knob and tightened until it wouldn’t turn anymore but water still flowed. I ended up removing the clamp and bending the water line back over itself and stopped the flow until I could make the connection. Clamp went into the trash.

This product works perfectly. The large knob makes it easy for older folks like me to tighten it down firmly.

Great, expensive but it works and easy to control the flow of water, such as drip feeding a plant etc.

For the price point, this is a good tool. The swivel lower jaw allows the clamp to go around a hose that is already installed. The large screw head allows for a good grip and tight clamping by hand without need of additional tools. The jaw is slightly rounded so that the hose is not easily cut.
